The result of Schwerin-Suhl won't have any influence on the ranking anymore, both teams will keep their ranks no matter what the result will be. So the playoff matches will be:
(1) Dresden - (8 ) Stuttgart
(2) Vilsbiburg - (7) Wiesbaden
(3) Schwerin - (6) Suhl
(4) Münster - (5) Hamburg
Sinsheim and Leverkusen in theory have to go down to 2nd league, but if no team from 2nd league wants to go to 1st league they can stay if they want. It will be known in early April.
Well, It might be a mental game, since both (Schweriner and Suhl) will meet in quarters...but I guess they wont use their main players and will try to hide their game, since this regular match has no importance.

It's difficult, Suhl doesn't have so many substitute players and this week several players were ill. In Schwerin all players have high level, also those who are usually on bench. I agree that both teams probably won't play like it's about the championship, but also both teams certainly will want to keep a good rhythm for entering playoffs.
Well, I think Vilsbiburg, Dresden and Schwerin will qualify easily for semi's...only Münster-Hamburg will be a real fight.
For semi's..I think eventually Dresden (against Münster or Hamburg) and Schwerin (against Vilsbiburg) will advance to finals, like last year

Yes, I think so too. Vilsbiburg played on a good level all season while Dresden and Schwerin had ups and downs, but now heading to the playoffs those two are reaching their best form. Schwerin already showed in Cup final how good they can play, for me they are also favorite to win Championship again.
