  • I heard female Supercup was deleted. What about male one?

I watched the match today. Boring game. Zurich doesn't look as strong as it was previously. Koniz too. Big problems with the setter for the home team. Best players were Jenkins for Koniz and Carter for Zurich IMO. I have to say Zurich played without Rosic and Onyejekwe...

  • Maybe the coach alterned her and Fiumedinisi. When I watched libero's jearsey, it was number 7: Fiumedinisi is number 7 and Rosic is number 9... ^^

And let me say that Rosic is just beautiful!

  • I watched 2nd and beginning of 3rd set and in that time only Rosic played. But overall, I agree that Volero doesn't look that strong this year. Voitenko seems to be a decent attacker, but in defense she looked a little embarassing at times, like she had no idea what to do with the ball. Carter is simply weak as Opp, and I don't like the setter too much either...

For Köniz, Anika Schulz did a really good job in the part I watched. I wonder if Guidetti ever considered/invited her for NT in the last few years...

Nothing has changed concerning the "information policy" of Swiss Volley (our federation) on its website.
No stats available. No starting six available. No names of MVP's available.... :sos:
I really don't know if it's a lack of ressources or just a lack of will to provide the volleyball fans at least with basic information about the league matches.
Most of the clubs publish match reports (mostly from their local newspapers) a few days later on their websites. But that shouldn't be an excuse for Swiss Volley not to offer more information. :teach:

  • I remember that one of Users Brooke probably played last season here. Does She play still?

  • I remember that one of Users Brooke probably played last season here. Does She play still?

Brooke Seaman (i don't know, if it's her, you mean) played last season for VBC Biel in the NLA. But this club doesn't exist anymore. She's not playing in the NLA this season. And i don't know if she has found a club in a lower league in Switzerland or abroad.

Nancy Carrillo has played for the first time for Volero Zürich in the Swiss League in todays match against TSV Düdingen. According to Volero Zürich, the authorization ("Spielbewilligung") in Russia worked not as expected. So Nancy Carrillo came back to Zürich to practice with Volero and will play for Volero until further notice.

  • Good for Volero!

Born for Volleyball, lives from Volleyball, dies with Volleyball.

So yesterday evening, i took the railroad to Neuchâtel to attend the "derby" NUC vs. VFM, which are the two best clubs from the french-speaking part of Switzerland. It was a pretty interesting match. Both teams had their ups and downs (especially VFM). VFM played a good second set and they also had a comfortable 5-points lead in the third set (leading 21:16 !), but then suddenly nothing worked as well as before for them and NUC made a great comeback in the match.

Sagres NUC without Sandra Stocker (injured). First NLA match as member of Sagres NUC' starting line-up for 16-year old MB Carole Trösch (well done :flower: ) replacing Sandra Stocker.
