Italy - Serie A1 Femminile 2012/2013

  • 50% !!! thats insane , why not 25% or 60% ? a contract is a contract , if the lega agree with this kind of situation and qualifye teams they (un purpose or not) didnt pay players, she open a door for cheaters

the 50% is before the playoffs not in the season..in the end of season they must have paid 100%. I think that is what I understood.

For me it is a start, before they only demanded 70% of the salaries paid to enter next season..so.

  • Wasn't sure where to put this, but I couldn't think of any other thread. Anyway, all these news got me thinkig about how is Simona Rinieri doing in this B1 league after she resolved her contract in Modena. Seems like it was fine at the beginning, but something happened and, well, the player and the club didn't part the ways on friendly terms.

Here's the interview with Rinieri from the beginning od April. Everything is ok. - http://www.bengrovigo.it/notiz…-contro-sfrontatezza.html

Two weeks later we have this bomb - http://www.bengrovigo.it/notiz…o-con-simona-rinieri.html

    (google translator)
Beng Rovigo volley considered it appropriate to terminate the contract with the athlete following a series of breaches of contract of the same, as well as a specific ground for the annulment of the contract, which the company considered serious and unavoidable.

I wonder what was this all about. ?(

  • from what I know she denounced the economic problems the club had and she said that they didn't pay her...what's more she also said that she has been suspended for stupid reasons and that there were unrespectful behaviours towards her
at least here is the article on volleyball.it about it:

Thanks so much for the link. I must have totally missed this news 8| So Simona had a very bad lack with the clubs last season. I hope she'll continue to play, maybe come back to Serie A1? Would be nice to see her again.
