Germany - DVL 1. Bundesliga 2012/13

  • The video above:

Ok, it's a little off-topic (Challenge Cup) , but it's really funny

    Focus at 2.09m

Laura wrote on twitter, she will now definitely end her football/soccer-career

  • Sthefanie already played for Schweriner?

Not yet, probably she will make her debut today in CL.

Transfer of Ivelina Monova to Stuttgart is official now. Stuttgart's 2nd libero Lena Gschwendtner's elbow injury was more serious than expected, she's out for 6 more weeks, that's why the transfer was necessary.

  • Schwerin has now officially announced the transfer of Laetitia Moma, 19 year old and 1.90 tall OH from Cameroon NT. Coach of Cameroon NT is German Peter Nonnenbroich who was coach of Schwerin 15 years ago, probably that's how the girl ended up here. As soon as all formalities are done she can play :)

  • probably that's how the girl ended up here

That's for another reason. Teun Buijs was in Cameroun last summer to give training to woman team there. A trainer told him about her, and he was really enthousiastic about her.
He invited her to come to Schwerin. That's how she came in Schwerin.
She's very talented, but more someone for future.

  • Thanks for the info :)

TV matches of the weekend (both one camera matches):
    24.11.12, 17.30 Dresdner SC – Alemannia Aachen
    24.11.12, 19.00 Schweriner SC – VC Wiesbaden

Schwerin-Wiesbaden is the match of 1st vs 2nd ranked team. Schwerin is still unbeaten, Wiesbaden lost only the season opener against Vilsbiburg but has won every match since then too. They don't have any big star (except Regina Burchardt maybe) but a very solid and balanced team with many players from last season. Should be an interesting match, but if Schwerin can repeat the performance from the Urbino match, no other team in German league has a chance against them :obey:

Indeed. ;) But I think it wouldn't have been too bold to make this statement even before the Urbino match.

  • NO WAY :rolll: :rolll: :rolll: CAMEROON  Bundesliga is World League with the biggest Star from the League Germany's Calderon.

  • If a player from Lithuania (Petrauskaite) plays on very high level since many years, why should a player from Cameroon not be able to achieve it?

Allianz Stuttgart and Nadja Schaus mutually agreed to dissolve their contract. Nadja Schaus has physical problems since some time and is completely out of shape and recently she suffered another knee injury, so they decided that it's better for her to concentrate on recovery. The club is looking for another player, but maybe they will take a player from their 2nd team into 1st league or look for another OH (which I find stupid because Zautys and Engelhardt play quite well so far and Olivera on bench is a good option too).

For the Bulgarian friends, a short portrait of Lora Kitipova: http://www.regio-tv.de/video/229497.html
She says that her goal is to win an Olympic medal, she thinks Bulgaria NT has good chances to qualify in 2016 and perform well. She chose Stuttgart over other offers because she can be 1st setter there, she enjoys the training a lot and the coach does a good job in motivating the players. Franziska Bremer (team captain) says Lora is a funny and relaxed girl with a simple character, she sees her own mistakes and doesn't get mad at other players, it's very easy to get along play together with her.

  • If a player from Lithuania (Petrauskaite) plays on very high level since many years, why should a player from Cameroon not be able to achieve it?

Maybe yes but only if the Player from Africa played in Europe since 10 years old. 19 years is too late to do something with skills. Only play in Bundesliga for that Player is maximum of volleyball career :rolll:

So she should be really glad for being in germany and not being a participant of poland liga(definetly the worst one in popular leagues in europe) ? :whistling:

  • During shower I let My minds to be free and.. borned question- if Schweriner wins National Championship Gold, will be Cameroon's Kozuch first ever Player from Africa in the World who wins National Championships Gold abroad Africa?

First defeat for Schwerin and first victory for Suhl finally. I guess Schwerin concentrates on the Cup match vs Dresden on Wednesday and the CL match vs Constanta next week and they wanted to rest Lousi Souza Ziegler but it didn't work out as expected and Wiesbaden continues to surprise. Both new transfers of Schwerin played in the match.
Hamburg continues to play completely without reception, any team with good serves should be able to beat them, so after the surprise victory against Dresden last week they're back in reality now.
Potsdam beating Münster looks like a surprise, but half of Münster's team (Benson, Berg, Sloetjes) are sick and their head coach wasn't even able to travel with the team. Anyway looks like Potsdam played quite well, Fresco was unstoppable in attack and Elisa Muri with 7 blocks (most of them vs Cutura apparently).
Junior NT OH Jennifer Geerties made her comeback after 9 months break due to back injury/surgery yesterday, only as libero though but her reception helped the team a lot according to the coaches.

Important news: from next season on, the 3 point ranking system will be introduced in all German leagues. That means a team gets 3 points for 3:0 or 3:1 win, 2 points for a 3:2 win and 1 point for a 2:3 loss.

  • She? So fast? I thought that She needs time to integrate with cold weather, close People and far away from friends.. these words remind Me one Player..
So how did play Africa's Kim?

  • where is Anne Buijs?
