  • Brahmin, do you know if Maiko Kano has been playing as a setter? I remember reading a few months ago that she would be transitioning to that position.

  • Could you give the detail statics of NEC? I wonder how Yeliz Basa plays. She scores so many points because of getting so many sets or playing with high effinency?

And thank you sharing the match scores and the ranking :drink: . It is hard to follow Japan's league.

And thank you sharing the match scores and the ranking :drink: . It is hard to follow Japan's league.

    Match 2, 5 sets of 5, 22 kills, 2 errors, 56 attempts, number 1 in kills and attempts, 5 blocks, 0 aces, 1 service error, 17 serves
    Match 3, 5 sets of 5, 34 kills, 5 errors, 64 attempts, number 1 in all three, 3 blocks, 0 aces, 4 service errors, 15 serves
    Match 4, 3 sets of 3, 13 kills, 3 errors, 31 attempts, number 1 in all three, 0 blocks, 0 aces, 0 service errors, 6 serves
    Match 5, 4 sets of 4, 20 kills, 3 errors, 45 attempts, number 1 in all three, 1 blocks, 1 ace, 0 service errors, 21 serves
    Match 6, 3 sets of 3, 21 kills, 4 errors, 38 attempts, number 1 in all three, 4 blocks, 0 aces, 2 service errors, 11 serves
    Match 7, 5 sets of 5, 11 kills, 5 errors, 36 attempts, number 1 in errors, 0 blocks, 1 ace, 1 service error, 8 serves

    Match 10, 4 sets of 4, 8 kills, 3 errors, 25 attempts, number 1 in errors, 1 blocks, 0 aces, 1 service error, 9 serves

I am thinking that she may have been injured with the lower numbers of attempts because she has been in as a substitute in some sets recently.

Normally in Japan, with each team only allowed 1 foreigner, they are often the required to be the best player on the team. So, they will get the most sets to help the team win. With NEC playing well, Basa is a big portion of their success in the early part of the season.

    According to League ranks
She is # 3 in points 163 kills, 20 blocks, 5 aces, 188 points total
#5 in kills per set at 4.29
#9 in blocks per set at 0.53
