    Schedule:
    16/03 - GS Caltex X Hyundai
    18/03 - Hyundai X GS Caltex
20/03 - GS Caltex X Hyundai (if necessary)

The winner goes through to the final and will play against IBK.

  • Teams rank after regular season (30 matches each team):
    Win, Lose, Points
    1. IBK 25, 5, 73
    2. GS 21,9,62
    3. Hyundai 16, 14, 50
    4. EX 17, 13, 48
    5. Heungkuk 6, 24, 22
    6. KGC 5, 25, 15

Hyundai is qualified cause points is first criterion. I really disagree. For me victories must be the most important.

    Today matches:
    KGC 3:2 Heungkuk - Whitney: 28 points.
EX 3:1 Hyundai - Nicole Fawcette: 40 points. Hyundai played with his regular players only in first set.

    Now is playoff time!

  • GS are playing Hyundai on Saturday. About this match:

Best scorer - Bethania de la Cruz: 36 pts [33 (54,10%)WS, 2 aces, 1 block]
It was a polemic decision by referee in the end of 4th set. Hyundai's coach complained (isn't first time! ). IMO referee was right.
GS Caltex did a lot of defensive mistakes.

One more victory and they are in the final. :super:

  • GS Caltex won 2nd match!

    Hyundai 1:3 GS Caltex (23:25, 24:26, 26:24, 21:25)
    MVP - Han Song-Yi: 13 points (9 in attack, 4 blocks).
Bethania de la Cruz did 41 points (37 in spikes, 3 aces, 1 block).
Jana did 39 (35 winning spikes, 4 blocks).
So Young Lee (GS Caltex's OH) suffered a injury during first set.

GS Caltex will play the final.
Congratulations! :drink: It was fair! The best two teams on regular season. Now is Bethania X Alesia. :win:
    Final Schedule:
    23/03 - IBK X GS
    25/03 - IBK X GS
    27/03 - GS X IBK
    29/03 - GS X IBK (if needed)
    31/03 - IBK X GS (if necessary)

  • IBK and GS played 6 matches on regular season. 4-2 IBK.

    IBK:
Best player - Alesia: 825 points [729 winning spikes (50,73%), 70 blocks, 26 aces]. She is 2nd scorer, 1st spiker and 2nd blocker. Probably the most consistent player untill now. :win:

    GS:
why repeat? Bethania de la Cruz. 5th scorer, 3rd spiker and 2nd server.

Based on regular season, IBK could be:tzz:. But is a final! Who knows?

  • First match:

    IBK 3X1 GS (25:22, 25:21, 21:25, 25:19)
    Alesia - 35 points [30 in attacks (42,86%), 2 aces, 3 blocks]. 1st spiker, 1st blocker and 1st server. What a start! :win:
MBs helped too with 17 and 10 points.

Lee So Young didn't play. ;(

  • IBK did their homework!

    IBK 3X1 GS (25:22, 25:23, 21:25, 25:20)
Best scorer - Bethania de la Cruz: 44 points [41 winning spikers (53, 95%), 1 ace, 2 blocks]
GS is missing Lee So Young.
Alesia (31 points; 44,62%) and Park Jeong-Ah (21 points; 54,55%) played well too.

Now, one more victory to the championship!

  • GS 3X2 IBK (21:25, 16:25, 25:16, 26:24, 15:7)

    Best scorer -
Alesia: 38 points [35 wspikes (49,30%), 1 ace, 2 blocks]. Why doesn't she play in Ukraine NT? ?( She could be really useful to them against France in ECH 3rd round.
    Bethania: 37 points [32 wspikes (45,07%), 4 aces, 1 block]

IBK had 3 championship points in 4th set but GS Caltex's defence worked very well and stopped their spikes. In tie-break, a great sequence of 4 servers (3 aces) by Bethania de la Cruz gave GS a good advantage to win.

Now, these two teams will face each other again on Friday.

  • There are million high level players who don't play in Ukraine NT, (as Crotia NT)

  • Because is she young?

My favourite roster of Chinese (in 2022)
    male NT:
    S - Yu Yao-chen, Chen Lei-yang
OP - Jiang Chuan, Dai Qing-yao
    OH - Zhang Jing-yin, Yu Yuan-tai, Liu Li-bin, Fu Hou-wen
    MB - Zhang Zhe-jia, Peng Shi-kun, Li Yong-zhen, Jiang Zhen-yang
    L - Yang Yi-ming, Yang Tian-yuan

    female NT:
    S - Yao Di, Diao Lin-yu
    OP - Gong Xiang-yu, Sun Xiao-xuan
    OH - Li Ying-ying, Wang Yi-fan, Wu Meng-jie, Zhuang Yu-shan
MB - Yuan Xin-yue, Wang Yuan-yuan, Zheng Yi-xin, Liu Yu
    L - Ni Fei-fan, Xu Jia-nan

  • It seems like A foreign player scoring more than 35 nearly 40 points is not a big deal in Korea

  • Yes, it is. It means you weren't the only person to score for your team.

It seems like It isn't. If I'm not mistaken, Montano made 53 points last season in Korean league. So, I'd say making 40 is not a big deal at least in Korea

  • It seems like It isn't. If I'm not mistaken, Montano made 53 points last season in Korean league. So, I'd say making 40 is not a big deal at least in Korea

I understood your point, emil. :) But, do you know one thing? Montaño did 53 points (49, 48%) in a match against Hyundai. Do you know who won the match? Hyundai. :D Can you believe it? Almost only Montaño scored for her team. All her teammates together scored only 38 points. Hyundai had 3 scoring players above 10 points (Mihajlovic, 29; Yang Hyo-jin, 23; Hwang Youn-joo,19) and they won the match. So, I don't know if make 53 points and leave court defeated could be a big deal.

  • She's 25. Not so young, but in a good shape and age. :win:

Ukrainian NT is without professionalism and with financial problems, that's why a lot of players from Ukraine don't want to play in this NT.

  • V-League has a champion: Hwaseong IBK Altos. :cup:

Congratulations!!!:drink: Completely deserved. IBK reigned supreme this season. :obey:
    Is their first time. :dance6:

    Championship match

    GS 1X3 IBK (18:25, 25:20, 19:25, 21:25)
Best player - Alesia Rykhliuk: 36 points [28 wspikes (38,89%), 2 aces, 6 blocks]. Not so successful in attack today, but with a solid block, she had an important participation again.

    About four final matches :teach:

Best scorers: Alesia - 140 points, Bethania - 139 points.
    Best spikers: Park Jeong-Ah - 44,93%, Alesia - 43,88%, Bethania - 43,60%
    Best servers: Bethania - 0,53% (9 aces), Yoon Hye-suk - 0,31% (5 aces), Park Jeong-Ah and Alesia - 0,29% (5 aces).
    Best blocker: Alesia - 13 (0,76%)
    Best receiver: Yoon Hye-suk
    Best digger: Nam Jie-youn

I would like to see Park Jeong-ah and Lee So-young playing for Korea NT! Good young players. :win:
