Finals: (best of 7)
Ponce - Caguas 0-3 (11-25 18-25 18-25) Sts
Leonas: Fawcett 13, Salvo 12, Hernandez 4; Criollas: Ocasio-Malpica 13, Fonoimoana 12, Enright 11Caguas - Ponce 4-2
Last game was just a knock-out by Criollas Caguas. Team desrved for this title throughout season, though they sometimes had problems with reception: injuries by Enright and Quesada, problems with transfer of Gina Mambru, Hooker's case - her arrival with delay, little injury, later poor performance and so on. After season in Korea Karina Ocasio-Malpica could join team and she was driving force of team in last matches. Of course we shouldn't forget about Falyn Fonoimoana - leading hitter in team throughout whole season.
Team overcame all obstacles and went for a title - they have definitely the best local players: V.Mojica, K. Ocasio, Oquendo, Reyes, Quesada, Venegas, Collazo and B.Rivera are or were NT members.
MVP of Finals was named Shara Venegas.

Cristobal Marte, main director of NORCECA invented an idea of inviting to league one team from Dominican Republic and maybe also one from Cuba, what do you think about it guys?

In theory, I think it's a great idea from a fan standpoint. However, I read the article and the head of FPV brought up a good point that there has to be rules put in place to prevent the Cuban and/or Dominican team from being essentially a NT playing as a club as the Dominicans did with Mirador in the late 90's when they did a tour against PR professional teams. It also benefits the Dominicans and Cubans far more than it does the Puerto Ricans. Essentially, DR and Cuba have amateur leagues. Having a team participate in the PR League would be beneficial for their younger, less-experienced athletes to get the opportunity to compete at a higher level without having to travel far overseas.
