Italy - Serie A1 2015/16

    Pomì wins in a very convincing way the first match of the season against Vicenza, 3-0 (25-10 25-19 25-16). Kozuch with 15 points is the top scorer, while Stevanovic had 8 blocks and 13 points overall. On the other side bad match for all Vicenza's players.. I think their main problem will be finding a good and balanced line up considering the foreign limit!


    It is the first time ever that Pomì won in the first match of their season: last year they lost 3-1 to Novara and in their first year they lost to Bergamo! :super:

    Congrats to Casalmaggiore, they were simply better in every aspect. Stevanovic has gotten even better after NT experiences, I think she's one of the best MBs in Serie A this year, just like last year.


    Vicenza were awful, the only player that did her job was Karolina Goliat. None of the serbs played decent, I hope it's just due to their nerves. I don't like Kitipova at all, surprisingly the young italian setter set better and defended better.

    I've been trying to search some streams and found nothing :(

    Bolzano is Dark Horse this season! They lost against Novara but score was very tie! 4set was 25:23 for Novara.


    I'm very interesting about Brčić game and Mari.
    Top scorer was Samanta Fabris with 21 kills and 3 as serve. For Bolzano top scorer was Mari with 20 kills and 1 block.

    I watched Yamamay - Scandicci match today for Bahar and Gözde :flower: It was interesting to see Bahar as attacking middle :lol: And I realized that I missed her strong serves :heart: Her block was bad today though. Luckily Stufi blocked well today and the main difference between the teams were middles' performance today imo :D On Yamamay's side Gözde was the best player I believe but noone really stood out for me. Or maybe I was too much focused on Scandicci and I missed some good performances by Yamamay players :P

    Martinez 201cm, Brcic 190cm, Steinbrecher 188cm, Garzaro 189cm, Manzano 188cm, Ikic 185cm... pretty tall for an italian club.
