CEV European League 2017

Quoted from "serdar" I wonder why there are no Romania, Slovenia, Israel, Greece, Switzerland. They had promising teams in previous years Looks like Switzerland has chosen (once again) to participate in the Montreux Volley Masters and the Universiade in August.

CEV European League 2017

Will be interesting to see what Svetlana Ilic can do with Austria in the long run or Guillermo Gallardo with Sweden. Finland might have good upcoming players around, i think. Spain seems to have found a very solid core of players for its line-up whereas France seems to lack this continuity in the line-up. Let's hope there will be good quality streams available.

Spain - Superliga 2016/2017

Quoted from "Angel" Nette Tuominen (FIN) in Logroño and Laura Tomsia (POL) in Ibsa, first movements in winter market. They won't be the last, Ibsa is looking for a new setter and Avarca is also looking some european attacker Chloe Collins (University of Texas)?

Fort Lauderdale - Not long now

Looks pretty unpredictable and exciting with so many new pairs from everywhere. But it's also nice to see the ones who still stick together (like for example Lili and Elsa from Spain). I guess, Nadja Glenzke would be the "regular" new partner of Grossner, at least they have a team-page on facebook. With Holtwick/Semmler retired and Borger/Kozuch as a "work in progress", i would maybe expect Laboureur/Sude as the strongest german team until Laura Ludwig has recovered?

Russian NT 2016

Quoted from "Mony" Quoted from "Matthias" Samoilenko = Shlyakhovaya Efimova now plays in Krasnodar and started the season in Omichka I think. I have no idea what she does in NT, in summer she didn't even play much in B-team. Marichev is really crazy with player choices, in summer Orlova was starter and now she is not even in the wide roster even though she plays decent in Volero It won't matter much as long as Fetisova and Zaryazhko are healthy and Lyubushkina is there as first back-up, but in ...

2015 / 2016 Transfer News

Why not give it a try? Maybe money isn't everything that counts for her. It seems to me, behind the good Menegatti/Orsi Toth is quite a gap in italian beachvolleyball. Maybe they can establish a decent 2nd team in the long run with her help. It won't be easy for sure, as there are more and more countries investing to become really good. The brazilians are still in the lead a bit, but it's not all BRA/USA/GER anymore like a few years ago. There are more and more countries with at least one (or se...
