Brazilian League 2016/2017

The only good thing about playing at 10am is that at the least the game is available on National TV and everyone can watch it. And yeah is always the same thing, it never changes. "Cute" article with Malesevic and Bjelica, they said they are "almost" brazilians, during the past 8 months they have been doing everything together, expect from sleeping together. olololo and they became sisters. Malesevic joked and said she already lost a final in Rio, she can`t loose another olololol. http://globoes...

Brazilian League 2016/2017

Sunday is the Final Osasco vs Rexona at 10am (local time). ( It starts at the same time as Vitra vs Moscow Bronze Medal Game starts) Keep in mind 2 things. They have played the whole season at night 7pm, 10pm. And this final will be played at 10am. They have to play at 10am because that is the time the TV Channel Globo wants. And, Osasco finished the series with Praia in 3 games, the last time they played was 2 weeks ago, is good they got 2 weeks off but it is bad because they lost their rhythm ...

USA NT 2017

After a standout indoor and sand volleyball college career at Pepperdine from 2008 to 2013, Hill was one of 240 athletes at the 2013 open tryouts. She not only made the national team, but earned a starting role. http://www.oregonlive.com/olympics/index.ssf/2016/08/portlands_kim_hill_took_an_unl.html From March 3-5, 2017, around 240 athletes converged on Colorado Springs with hopes of earning a spot in one of the U.S. Women’s National Team Programs. Athletes who have come out of the tryout includ...

USA NT 2017

Kim Hill back in ( not sure but I think it was in 2012 or 2013) was part of the try out. If remember right she was the only 1 player out of the 250 participants that was chosen to join the National Team. The whole story is on her profile on the US NT page. I could be wrong but I think Kasrta Lowe was picked from the try out as well. And there`s a few other players that came out from the try out as well... Quoted from "elvis" Quoted from "rbdfabio" But the US training camp is not like mostly plac...

CEV Champions League 2017

Well winning CL is really important, but winning the World Championship is really important also. Especially for the sponsors. There`s more fans around the world watching the Club Championship than watching the CL. Which means their brand are getting "more popular" if their team is playing at the Club Championship than in the CL> For example, I was at the youtube chat last time during Sexi-Taubate with braziians fans, and nobody was talking about the CL games....everyone was talking about the Cl...

Italy - Serie A1 2016/17

Thanks for posting. Really interesting. But looking at these numbers, especially the women is really sad. Damm but I just wonder, how these clubs can keep going? There`s no fans, only a few clubs with more than 50% . And this is not only in ITALY, it is around the world, volleyball arenas are empty.....is not only sad, but it is very concerning. Rexona played 3 games in the Olympic Arena in the regular season, the arena has capacity for over 10k, but only around 1k to 1.5k showed up for each gam...

Italy – Superlega Unipolsai 2016-2017

Russel played the first game and Perugia lost remember?? If Russel made that difference, Perugia would have won that game and they would have been in the final.... Because Perugia won the 2nd and 4th game...which means if Perugia had won the game when Russell played ...Perugia would have won the series in 3-1 btw.. I find Rains of Castamare and Shame`s post very similar... I have smelled something very fish for a while....I think rains of castamere and Shame are the same person. either way I don...

CEV Champions League 2017

Quoted from "ezo" I can't believe that's the same Fawcett who started the season with sarıyer and performed poorly, now playing in CL F4 and actually doing nice! She actually did not play that well, only 33% in attack 14/42, and Skorupa saved the match when it was 24/23 for Moscow and Faucett got blocked but Skorupa saved the ball, otherwise they would have gone to a 5set. But Goncharova played bad also....

CEV Champions League 2017

Ortonali`s experience helped in the end. But Danasi and Folei outplayed big time Poljak and Fetisova. Folei 11 points / Danesi 10 Poljak 4 points / Fetisova 7. and of course Skorupa played way way better than Pankova. Vow...the arena was not even full for Conegliano`s game, if I remember right Pomi`s last year was sold out. I hope more people show`s up tomorrow.

That is the problem with her ...she is either really hot or really cold. But everyone in Moscow has no energy. Quoted from "crovolley" If Goncharova doesn't starts to play like She can, this match is over.

CEV Champions League 2017

A little bit of both. Boskovic did not play well, she had double block on her all the time, and Vakfibank did a great job digging her balls. But she was set 25 times, Kosheleva and Larson 20 times each. Larson was terrible in attack and Koshleva was only a bit better. I think half of the balls set to Larson should have gone to Boskovic..... at least Boskovic served well, and they got a free balls back when Vakf could not handle her serves, but Vitra failed to convert those into points for them. ...

But the difference was that Boskovic was just not herself today and Sloetjes played well. Larson is great on defense, but she really hurts the team in offense 4/20 20%. I don`t even get why Maja set her this much, Larson should play as a 2nd libero. On the other side Hill was bad also 3/15 20%. Rasic did a great job considering the fact she not 100% health. Kosheleva! Well Vitra is just not the club for her. I don`t think she should stay another season otherwise she will destroy her career.

I love your comment . Quoted from "JuriTerreni" Quoted from "USAvolleyfan" I don't agree with that sub.. Sloetjes has been great, whereas Zhu so-so.. That's because you know nothing about volleyball, they subbed her not because she was playing bad, but simply to free Zhu from receiving. Bye.
