Minas is losing Hooker. Kinda sad tho because I like her a lot. There are rumors that Buijs will continue her career in China. I don't mind it because she has been under[performing so far on the league and I think it is time Drussyla to take the starting spot -- in which will become a good thing for Brazil NT to have more young players on their line-up. But what sadden me is knowing that Carol might be leaving, too. Where is she going? I wish she would stay on Rexona. Carol-Juciely duo is unbeat...

Quoted from "rbdfabio" I personally don`t like Ze Roberto, and I don`t want Natalia playing for Barueri. But I think would be better for her to play in Barueri as OH than playing as OH/OPP in Fenerbache because Polen can`t be a reliable OPP. Natalia must play full time as OH. Agreed. they need a full-time killing OPP. I hope they will find someone local that is a good OPP because I want them to keep Nootsara and Natalia for next season.

Quoted from "ST2008" Quoted from "iceman008" so if fener's fans were really distracting then how come ecz won 3 times this season against them in other words if they were really affected by the fans then they shouldnt have won even 1 game during their matches this season It's not because ecz won 3 times that the players were not affected by thugs intimidations. Some players can cope better than others. But at the end of the day, it's all about sportsmanship and fair play. sportmanship and playe...

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" Quoted from "akitoakie" Quoted from "ST2008" It's funny that those who defend or downplay the uncivilized behaviors of some fans keep saying it doesn't affect the player's performance, but they admit indirectly at the same times the goal of those uncivilized behaviors is to demoralize the opponents. what's funny is you don't have any answers to all the facts stated by the other posters above demolishing your stupid arguments about how Fener and Galatasaray advan...

Is there any news about Natalia's contract on Fener? Coach Ze Roberto (who is practically Natalia's dad in volleyball) is looking for a stronger rooster since his team is promoted to Superliga A. And rumors is that he is trying to reach out to Natalia. I personally hope Natalia would decline because that will be a career suicide. She is on top of her game now and she needs to be in a highly competitive team.

There are rumors about Coach Ze Roberto wants Natalia on his team for the next season of Superliga. Will Natalia do it since they are practically father and daughter? I personally hope not because Coach Ze (he is a great coach, not to take that away from him) don't seem to be able to unlock Natalia's true potential. She spent so many seasons playing under Coach Ze and she was just okay. The minute she transferred to Rexona and train under Coach Rezende, she became better and better and now she i...

Quoted from "ST2008" Quoted from "akitoakie" Being intimidated in sports is part of the bigger picture, and I believe both Vakif and Ecz knows that it comes with their territory. If they chickened out during a match because of the fans, then it is their fault. Quoted from "ST2008" Just curious. The four teams (GS, Fenerb, Vitra and Vakif) are all from Istanbul. How come their fans are so diffrent? What I mean is their fans are all from the same city but how come those fans from Fenerb and GS are bunch of thugs, whereas fans from Vakif are bunch of kids with their parents and their musical band? I will probably get stoned by the GS fans and by the Fenerb fans for saying this but I don't think GS and Fernerb both deserve their victory. What make them w...

I haven't watched the match but did Gabi scored less than 10 points? After her amazing performance from the previous match, it seems kinda fishy. Drussyla has stepped up to her plate. What she is doing now is similar to what Roberta did back in 2014 -- shining on the last stages of the Superliga and eventually became starter the following season. This will be good considering Rexona has lost Unilever as its main sponsor so hiring a foreign player will cost them so much money.

I am wondering why Kosheleva didn't play? It is an important match. The result might come out different if she was on court because she can kill high balls. But I am not going to take away anything from Galatasaray. They played an amazing match, played better than Vakifbank hence they are going to the final. Y;'all can give excuse like Vakifbank was playing bad etc but that's just show Vakifbank weakness -- that they are unable to perform up to the par when it is needed the most. I am expecting ...

Japanese NT 2017

No Sakoda and Ebata? Gurl, bye. Until you can name one person in that roster who can hit from the back row viciously and play mad defense like Sakoda did, then this will be 2016-Japan NT all over again.

Sweet moments with cuties.

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" If there's one thing I want the new coach to improve on the NT is that he has to pick good looking players more. I was heavily appalled by so many things in the selecao after Jaque basically drank the life left on Murilo that the NT has to suffer on the looks department and still I have to suffer looking at the pitiful skills being shown by some players. Lukas is a hot daddy. I don't mind Lucarelli. He is kinda cute. Bruno seems gay and I like it. But true tho. ...

OMG Eda Erdem is out of this world? She has like 3 back-to-back stuff blocks . And she gave no way for Boskovic - basically the best scoring machine in the League (other than Kim). You can see how demotivated Boskovic was when she was stuffed by Eda. She carried her team with her charisma. I am always skeptical when any team has middle blocker as their team captain because they are not always on the court, but Eda's charisma live through the team even when she is not on court. There's a bit chan...

Quoted from "saishuu" Brilliant game by Gabi tonight with 24/41 in attack. She actually saved her best match for the most important moment so far in the league for Rexona. Great contribution from Drussyla too, I hope Bernardinho uses her even more next season. Minas could've taken it to a 5th set and won, but it wasn't their day unfortunately. Their middles didn't perform half as well as they did last game. I hope we can have a good match next Friday! Their reception was tragic. Rexona did a go...

I was planning to stop following Superliga this season when Minas beat Rexona the previous match. I thought Rexona won't stand a chance. But Gabi truly amazed me. She player her best game so far. And kudos to Drussyla. This is a very important game for Rexona and she stepped up her game. It is a huge responsible for a girl at such a young age to be playing at a dead or alive game, and in fact, being one of the top scorers of the night when the team need to win the most. And her passing and defen...

Turkish League 2016/2017

I have only recently followed Turkish League as I have been following Brazil Superliga all along. In my personal opinion, Turkish League is more competitive since the bug clubs are neck to neck to each other. There is no clear winner to expect when Vakifbank, Fenerbahce, Eczacibasi, Galatasaray, etc go head on court. But in Superliga, as this season shows, Rexona is still the favorite. There might be some upset here and there like Minas is getting better since Jaque and Destinee Hooker are playi...

Quoted from "rbdfabio" I really don`t know what happened to her, and the problem is not even that she is not playing good, the problem is that she is not having fun, she looks uncomfortable, like is she does not belong on the court, she has no confidence at all. Is sad to watch her, I do hope she retires or just go back play in the Philippines. Bauru, what I can say? They had 2-0, and then 20-17(not sure if was in the 3rd or 4th set) in the first game and they just blew it, really bad, really u...

Mari has been useless so far in the match of Bauru VS Minas. Kinda sad to see this because she is one of my favorite players of all time. I don't know what had happened to her. If you see the women from her days post-Athens, most of them are still performing well. Jaque, Paula, even Sassa. I know she suffered a lot of injuries but it seems like most of the time she doesn't give her best -- giving chance ball to the opponent. I think she should just retire.

Quoted from "Sidney" Cintha Boesrma also played in Rexona for 2 years during the 90s, but yes, normally the foreigners stay only one year. This includes Logan Tom, Piccinini, Tara Cross, Brankica... Wow I didn't know that Piccinini played in Brazil. Quoted from "rbdfabio" Anne is playing good, especially in attack, she just needs to be more consistent with her passing. With Rexona losing sponsor, will definitely makes it harder to keep Anne, unless money is not a problem for her and she`s fine ...
