CEV Champions League 2017

Quoted from "Kaziyski" OK, I understand Zaytsev isnt having the best season but today he is inspired, way better than Berger in attack and Blengini is letting him to spike without reception Stats are saying Zytsev at 31% for this match and 4 times kill blocked...... http://www.cev.lu/Competition-Area/Match…s.aspx?ID=29045

CEV Champions League 2017

Berlin probably did what they could in the first two sets but as mentioned, individual class of Zenit prevailed. I hope the second match gets a bit more exciting. Some words from my part towards Robert Kromm. As funny as he may look at times in defence and reception, he has played a great CL-season . Mostly ok in reception, he was always around 60% in attack and led the team in the hottest moments in the big matches. I am not his biggest fan and at times did not write nicely about him. So credit...

CEV Champions League 2017

Quoted from "scarpetta" Ok what is wrong with the lights? What is wrong with Laola's quality? I wondered too..... Hard to say anything on the match so far. Anderson/Leon almost at 100% in attack, a service winner here and there, one or another block and here we go. The way Zenith serves/Berlin receives, Berlin needs more contribution from the opposite position

CEV Champions League 2017

I see nothing wrong with assisting fans to join final4. Sirci probably did worse investments this season...... I would be positively surprised if there will be really 350 fans from Berlin. I actually don't see this happening, but we will see. Regarding the sports and from a neutral perspective, I can agree on what scarpetta wrote. A final between Lube and Zenit would be my first choice too. I do hope that Berlin can deliver a worthy performance. Last match in Bundesliga was a bit worriesome but,...

2017 - 2018 transfer rumours

Some rumours from german league: Volleyball-Magazin is speculating that Patrick Steuerwald (setter, Herrsching) and Ruben Schott (OH, Berlin) might move to United Volleys RheinMain. I would especially appreciate Steuerwald's move, as this could mean that Adam Kocian stays in Lüneburg . List on german transfer activities: http://volleyball.de/misc/wechselboerse/…rwechselboerse/

Germany - Volleyball Bundesliga (VBL) 2016/17

Quoted from "Bayer" Friedrichshafen trashed Berlin 3:0 (25:13 !!, 26:24, 25:21) Berlin was playing as if they had to spend their last strength against Frankfurt. They were looking totally exhausted. This could not be the team that beat Dynamo Moscow twice, could it ? They best they can do for Rome now is to take a rest and push the reset buttons in their brains. Yes, quite disappointing performance by Berlin, even if you take their tough schedule and the travels into consideration. But credit w...

Congrats to Jastrzebski for securing third place and CL spot End of fourth set was pretty dramatic. JW led 24:21, Resovia equalized, but in the end, it was in vain. Resovia played without Drzyzga, Perrin and with a new libero. Even though they lost it, i think they put on a good fight and looked more like team tonight than in some matches i watched before. Final match between ZAKSA and Skra will start at 20.30 CET.

Germany - Volleyball Bundesliga (VBL) 2016/17

Quoted from "TimHH" The series between Berlin and United Volleys will go into a decisive third match, Berlin prevailed in five sets ( stats ) and joins Friedrichshafen for the final series. Over large parts, this was a really good match so generally saying: "Hats Off" to United Volleys. But there is reason to be angry for them too. They should have won the first two sets as Berlin struggled a lot and had to bring three subs early in the match (Marshall, ter Maat, Kühner). These changes and the ...

Quoted from "rbdfabio" I said a long time ago Modena`s problem is in the middle ( u guys can go back and look my past posts just to see I`m not lying and just saying this now). All 3 LeRoux,Holt and Piano have been really weak and not reliable enough. Lucas last season scored more 20 points some games....LeRoux,Holt,Piano combined scores 10 points per match average. In this match for example, Orduna did not use the MB much because setting for them is a waste of time, they never get the job done...

As some news sources are reporting, the austrian club Hypo Tirol is said to stand behind the wild card application of Unterhaching. They haven't applied to play in austrian league yet and in the past there had been conflicts between the clubs sponsor and the leagues sponsor (both banks). In a kind of cooperation a large part of tirol's team might move to unterhaching and home matches could be played in Haching and Innsbruck. But there is no official confirmation yet. sources: VM: http://volleyba...

Quoted from "TimHH" t looks like Zaksa ran a bit out of steam lately Quoted from "Tsiar" They definitely run out of steam in March and early April: Quoted from "kondzio" Skra - ZAKSA 0-3 (25-27 21-25 19-25) Okay, to stay in the "steam picture" we can say that Zaksa pretty much steam rolled over Skra yesterday
