2017 FIVB World League

Europe always gets the short end of the stick tbh. Just like last year. Only 4 European Teams in the olympics for both men and women. So terrible which made the games very predictable. FIVB always trying to do its best to limit Europe for the sake of geographical balance excuses which only hurts competition at the end. London was still one of the best olympics tbh. So much drama and so much passion. Rio can only wish it has half of its legacy.

FIVB should just remoce the world league from the world rankings. There's just no point for it anymore.

Volley Ball couple?

I'm not fond of these couple but Amir Ghafour seems like he got the hots for Farhad Ghaemi. Into more desirable Iran players, Milad and Mousavi make a hot item.

Why is Women Volleyball more popular than Men Volleyball- here ?

Quoted from "andrea" Can anyone from Italy, Poland or Russia comment whether men's volleyball is more popular at forums communicated in their own languages instead of English? Italian players instagram followers lean on men more. Poland male players are obviously more popular.Russia is a bit of curiousity but maybe because the males aren't active so they are not followed but imo are much more relevant than the women's side. I know it's not forum but honestly social media should be taken into co...

Why is Women Volleyball more popular than Men Volleyball- here ?

Quoted from "Meatballs" I think the other way around. Guys volleyball is the one with full of mistakes, it unfortunately looks very mechanic. If you are tall and strong in guys volleyball, then you do well. In Women's volleyball, technique matters much more and often world's best players are the ones with best technique, not the ones that are naturally having an advantage like Musersky, Leon... That's just too much a simple way of defining men's volleyball. If anything, women make more mistakes...

Brazilian NT 2017

Naiane- the best setter out of the three but for some reason, good passing eludes her when she's on court. Roberta- probably all around out of the three. Her best weapon is her serve and dump ball. Macris- a very decisive setter but makes too many errors. Which one? - Ze Roberto

Brazilian NT 2017

I hope to God Tandara comes back to form. It seems like she couldn't find the solution against the tall blocks in Montreux. No wonder Sheilla was always ahead of her as She can make magic out of bad sets. God only knows what will happen to her against the likes of Netherlands, China with their first team and USA with some tall outside hitters and middles. I like Tandara but at this rate, Brazil should just keep her as an OH and find a more suitable replacement for Sheilla. But the real menacing ...

CEV Challenge Cup 2018

Honestly, CEV needs to abandon this tournament and just concentrate on Champions League with 4 Russian,Italian, Poland clubs and CEV cup.

Quoted from "ossubtus" the discussion was about 2 midget OHs. Bruno and Toro? Then yes. They are undersized. Poglajen is an opposite by trade.

Quoted from "ossubtus" really, people, poglajen is 195 cm tall, that's a midget to you? undersized? in what world would that be? He's undersized as an opposite. He's okay as a swing hitter.

FIVB needs to sort this mess. I could see Slovenia winning the case considering the world league is part of the world rankings.

2017 FIVB World League

Quoted from "rbdfabio" Oh yeahhh, Antiga is in the Final 6 and Poland is not. I will be cheering my heart out for Canada to beat Russia. I had a roommate from Poland which happens to be a volleyball fan as well, and she told me that Polish players does not know how to work together as a group, they really struggles with that, they are better in individual sports, and when they score and they do that "jumping group together" is a way to "force" themselves to create some "group chemistry" during ...

2017 FIVB World League

Quoted from "saishuu" Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" I feel like Poland or maybe their federation probably blames a lot of non-factors like maybe Antiga. Antiga is a man of action. When he does something... he sticks with it like using Lomacz instead of Drzyzga or benching popular players that are playing badly. So they probably feel like what he did to their team is his fault. I don't know. It's just a conspiracy theory. And now Antiga is in the final six with Canada using plenty of new face...

2017 FIVB World League

Quoted from "rbdfabio" I think u @rainsofcastamere said the other day Poland was never the same after that loss for Italy in the World Cup, and you were right. After that Poland does not believe they can win anything, and whenever they get close to it, they panic and choke. In the 3rd set they had 20-17 and 24-23, and still could not finish it. I did not watch the whole game, only the 3th set and the first few points of the 4th. I said many times I don`t get why Drzyga is still starting for Pol...

2017 FIVB World League

Bulgaria needs to train better setters with the middles blockers. It seems like that's going to be a problem for them when they are separated by countries or miles though. Bulgaria was one-dimensional in offense and faces lots of troubles with blocks. Their passing wasn't great but the best setters in the world are capable of turning trash into gold. The lack of creativity was seen best today. Even Bruno wasn't that creative with Bulgaria. So with that, it just made Argentina play aggressively b...

Quoted from "rbdfabio" I`m glad Canada is in the Finals. But I can`t believe Belgium is out . And I can`t believe Russia is in That is all Poland`s fault with that 3-0 ugly loss. Russia is in no matter what the results are with Poland although Poland did lost to Russia.

Drzyzga wow. I doubt even the Italian clubs would take him as starter with that performance. Probably in Milan or some weak teams or maybe in A2. He has to sit in the bench imo. I hope he improves but still it's a waste. He's not as cool headed as the other setters. And he looks chunky and gets tired easily.
