Women's World Grand Prix 2017

The libero from last squad is RETIRED - Which means this new libero will be the main libero for this squad The setters are retired Glass and Tompson - Which means Lody and Hancock/Carlini will be the main setters for this squad The OPP Lowe is retired - I don`t think Faucett will come back ( at least she should not) MB - Ditzen is retired. Looking at the 2018 World Championship, as of right now this would be USA roster. S - Loyd, Hancok OPP- Murphy, Liz OH - Hill, Robinson,Larson,Bartash,Kingdon...

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

This is not USA B team, they are only missing 5 players, Hill, Adams, Robinson, Larson and Foluke. But Larson and Foluke are even considered question marks at this point. Either way they will all play at the Grand Champions Cup. USA goal this year is to win Gold at the Champions Cup Men`s and Women`s ( But the Champions Cup is considered worthless for a lot of teams). Serbia is also trying a lot of different combination. They have a different line up almost every match, going from Zinkovic to An...

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

In the past few years Serbia and China have not played the GP with their main roster, last year for example Serbia played the 1st weekend with B team, and the main squad only played 1 game and that was against Brazil, other games they were all mixed up, different roster each time, same goes for China. China qualified for the Finals in the past few years but only sent their B team. Brazil and USA have always played with their main roster preliminary and finals. Serbia and China did hide their gam...

Fivb Women's U-20 World Championship - Mexico

Boskovic is 20 born in 1997. They must be under 20? I was thinking it was 20 and under. Quoted from "Leonardo.D" Quoted from "rbdfabio" Well if we will think this way, Serbia could win it all if they had Boskovic, and Italy if they had Egonu,Orro,Guerra. Tijana Boskovic and Anastasia Guera dont belong to this age group. Egonu and Orro yes. Most of the time, USA doesnt send their best line up in U20 tournaments, that´s why they dont have any medal in this category. Just 2 times 4th place.

Fivb Women's U-20 World Championship - Mexico

Quoted from "sitenoise" I just looked at the stats, because that's all there is to look at, and it seems my little Red Rocket with the super model haircut, Shiori Aratani, had a pretty good game. The game was streamed on facebook. China vs Bulgaria is being streamed right now. Japan vs USA is available for replay. https://www.facebook.com/pg/Ayuntamiento…f=page_internal

Fivb Women's U-20 World Championship - Mexico

Japan is in .......... after crushing USA in 3-0. Assuming China will beat Bulgaria, tomorrow China vs Japan will decide who will grab #1 in the group. Quoted from "sitenoise" Quoted from "samsara" I think someone mentioned at least the finals may be broadcast/streamed for us to enjoy. That would be cool, especially if Japan is in them I think they will be.

2017 - 2018 transfer rumours

Quoted from "Kk15" Ps Randazxo is the one who strongly insisted (since the roster was completed) on leaving Lube, despite the fact Medei and dg Cormio reassured him he would had found space on court. Randazzo is smart, he made the right call.

Without Zaytsev Italy has 0 changes against France. I don`t think they can even beat Belgium, they will probably finish in last just like they did in the World League.

Thai NT 2017

That play is beautiful. I don`t know if you watched the interview in the end with Serbian MB Veljekovic and she said playing against Thailand is tough because they play a "special volleyball". If they could be just a bit taller...... Quoted from "sitenoise" I love how fast they attack with that one play that's not a strictly cross-court set, but the setter is almost behind the attacker and the ball would go over the net anyway if the attacker didn't smash it silly and help it along. How does any...

Yes, the "block" is when they get a point. There`s no blocking stat if you block but stays in play. Was nice to see Uchiseto play well against Brazil, I hope Watanabe will get her chance someday. here`s the stats from all 6 Japanese games. Go to "Schedule" and on the right "complete". http://worldgrandprix.2017.fivb.com/en/g…teams/jpn-japan

Fivb Women's U-20 World Championship - Mexico

Vow Serbia chocked big time, they had the game in the bag, leading 2-0 and 21-18 in the 3rd but lost 24-26, In the 4th they were leading 8-2, 18-16 and lost 25-23, in the 5th they had 5-3 and let USA go on a 5 run 5-8. They saved 3 match points in the end but it was not enough. At least Lazovic was the best player of the game.

Japanese NT 2017

I checked the stats and Koga has 7 blocks. Against - Thailand - 3 Dominican Rep. - 0 Netherlands - 2 Thailand - 2 Serbia - 0 Brazil - 0 I don`t think Japan can beat Serbia, China has not been playing their best if Japan can play their best MAYBE they can beat China but I would think consider China a favorite to win, they probably can beat Russia. Unfortunately I don`t think they will make it....I think Brazil will take the last spot I will keep my fingers crossed.
