Men's World Championship 2018

There's no point living in a dream. WCH 2018 will be without Germany. Giani is going to have to achieve a good result in ECH, yet another failure this summer would probably cost him his job. I wouldn't be too sad about it though, I don't think his philosophy is going to work with the player material we have in the long run either.

Quoted from "Sidney" Quoted from "Matthias" Quoted from "Sidney" I thought they were just resting Michelle, I didn't know she got injuried. That new middle blocker is playing and Tetori is not She made an awkward move in defense and ended up twisting her ankle early in yesterday's match but continued playing, however there's no point forcing her to play against the weak Belgians. I guess they'll still rest her tomorrow but have her back for the finals. I hope so, because things would be easier ...

Quoted from "samsara" Another case, when there are two faults happen at the same time from both sides, for instance, the ball from NED hit the antenna while BRA in blocking attempt touches the net, both faults happen at the same time (to the naked eyes)... whose fault it is counted, point to whom? If two mistakes happen at the same time, the referee has to decide double fault and the rally is repeated.

That's an interesting situation. Net touch with the hair doesn't count as net touch, but ball touch with the hair does count as ball touch?

Quoted from "rbdfabio" That is just their personality, that is just how they always "act" on the court. Rosamaria always looks "mad" and Roberta is always "cold", but they are always like this, even while playing in Club. So for a Brazilian player it's ok to be "cold" on court when it's their personality but when the Russian players are like that you say they should change it

The end of BUL-PUR must have been the worst 5 minutes of volleyball this year First Valentin screwed up literally every ball she touched after being up 24:21 and then Bulgaria destroyed their comeback with a series of own errors. That foot fault of Stoyanova on a jump float was...I don't know how to describe. A total blackout

Quoted from "samsara" wonder why there is an English commentator in this match? who pays him? FIVB? Local host? Mikasa? NIssan? whose money it's He has already commented one match of the Netherlands last weekend. I suppose it's an inofficial "match of the week" thing.

2017 / 2018 Transfer Rumors & Discussion

Quoted from "Toguttt" Quoted from "Emil" Of course It's him This is totally unacceptable. What else should he do in order to be finally banned from this forum? I already reported Sitemap several times to the moderators and I will report to Wikipedia this Tomarzig, which is the person who edited the 2 wikipedia pages yesterday morning (and I'm pretty sure he and Sitemap are the same person). He's not just inventing the news, now he is also falsifying websites. It's time to take action against th...

Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2017/2018

Dresden close their OH department with Marrit Jasper That must be the weakest set of OHs they've ever had: Hodanova coming back from injury in unknown shape, Strumilo being stuck in the "talent-status" for the time being, Schwabe being ok within her limits and Jasper being mainly a server and defender but certainly not an attacker for a team that wants to play for titles
