USA NT 2017

Quoted from "SHAME" IMHO it was Banwarth outstanding and over any expectations in the least 2 years, not Hagglund weak. In 2015 and 2016 Kayla was amazing, among the very best liberos in the world, and it was completely unexpected. You can think what you want but Hagglund is not being considered. She has spent a lot of time training with the team and the verdict is that her serve receive is too weak for her to be an option.

USA NT 2017

Quoted from "kondzio" Quoted from "ossubtus" Quoted from "rbdfabio" (I heard people on volleyballtalk saying maybe she got 2 year suspension for the doping, which means she would not be able to play next season again.) glass? doping? what???? she was on McLaren list No, she was not.

USA NT 2017

Libero will be a battle between Amanda Benson and Justine Wong-Orantes for next 4 years. Benson is the better passer, Wong is better digger and has higher profile from NCAA. That can all change as they gain experience in pro leagues.

2017 / 2018 Transfer Rumors & Discussion

Robinson is not able to score against elite teams who are prepared to play against her. There is a reason she has not gotten offers from top $$ clubs despite being well-known on world scene for several years now and why Hill has steadily started ahead of her on the USWNT. She plays with fire and has an engaging personal style, which is why fans seem to remember the days when she does score more than the (more frequent) times when she can't get past the block or gets easily dug when she has a 1-o...

USA NT 2017

The tryout is mostly a money grab as well as a chance to make sure no one fell through the cracks. 95% of the players there are trying out for a spot on a summer USAV team. It's not actually where the scouting for future NT players takes place.

2016 / 2017 Transfer News

Quoted from "jo1105" Quoted from "c4ndlelight" Taylor Sandbothe (MB, USA) has signed a contract with a French team. Anyone know which team will get Khaleesi? Since MB Hutinski is injured, RC Cannes is looking for a replacement. Is she good? je Huge fighting spirit and very determined. Finds ways to score. Scored 32 points in a match earlier this season; regularly scored 20+ as a middle blocker.

South Korea - KOVO V-League 2016-2017

Happy to see Bergsma put up some big numbers and her team starting to win some matches. Which teams in the league have the strongest contingent of Korean players? With the new draft system I feel like the foreigners are not as important.

USA NCAA 2016 Women's Volleyball

Quoted from "fireworks" Didn't realize there was a thread for this. Thanks for your time, Brahmin. There is tremendous talent in the US right now. I haven't been paying too much attention to the Pac12, or even the Big 10, but Lauren Carlini, Justine Wong-Orantes, Kelsie Payne, Cassie Wait, Micaya White, Ebony Nwanebu, Yaazzie Bedart-Ghani, Morgan Johnson, Amber Rolfzen, and Madison Rigden could all walk onto the US national team tomorrow and compete for starting positions. I heard Kelsie Payne ...

2016 / 2017 Transfer News

Quoted from "rbdfabio" Yeah that is what I meant. Volero is way too strong compared with the other teams, that`s why they don`t need ZInkovic and Fabiola. Krista Vansant ( American OH) that played for Volero, gave a interview where she said the Swiss league level is a lot worst than NCAA, and that the Champions League is only a bit better than NCAA. ANd only the really TOP teams are really good. Poor girl, I dont know how she knows the level of CL once she barely got the chance to play.. oloolo...

Quoted from "USAvolleyfan" If USA wants to put their best line up against China, according to players performance these first 2 matches it should be: Alisha-Lowe, Kelsey-Larson, Harmotto-Crimes, Banwarth What matches have you been watching? Robinson can neither pass nor attack this weekend.
