Funny that before he joined the Turkish NT, he was the perfect coach...the best coach in the world...everybody wanted him...but now he is not like that anymore...it's all his fault and not the players' fault

Quoted from "wild_awake_" Quoted from "Sidney" Quoted from "wild_awake_" Quoted from "tomen" Quoted from "Sidney" Quoted from "samsara" The Russian team played excellent match today, beat the Chinese team 3-1. Remember that China played without Zhu and Gong...and I'm not sure about their setters, but I think the main setter also did not play Zhu, Gong and Ding all played this match as the substitute players. In the last few points of Set 4, Zhu was blocked once. After the match, the largest pro...

Quoted from "rbdfabio" It just crossed my mind, but I guess it is not a bad idea for Serbia that Japan won, Serbia knows their only loss came from Brazil, and they know very well Brazil is always dangerous and they know how to win the GP more than anyone else....at least the door is open, and if Brazil does not reach the finals it will just benefit Serbia ( and everyone else).

If Japan loses today (which seems most likely to happen) and if Dom loses against Italy by any score later, Brazil will be already qualified no matter what happens in the last round.

Quoted from "rbdfabio" And that is exactly what I`m talking about USA team. THIS LINE IS ESSENTIALLY what we will see in the upcoming years. Only changes will be OH with Hill and Robinson and Middle with Adams and Foluke. Setters, libero and OPP will be the same.. and the others will be on the bench. Quoted from "Sidney" Calling a team as A or B doesn't have anything to do with the PAST squads, it has to do with using or not using the best lineup possible in the moment. Of course there are some...

Calling a team as A or B doesn't have anything to do with the PAST squads, it has to do with using or not using the best lineup possible in the moment. Of course there are some players that will come back to Brazil NT, but it is not certain to expect Sheilla, Fabiana, Thaisa, Fabiola, Jaqueline or even Jucy to be back until the next major tournaments (WCH and OG). That makes 6 out of 12. So yes, Brazil might be missing some girls, but the current line up is essentially what we will see in the fo...

Quoted from "Matthias" Quoted from "Sidney" I thought they were just resting Michelle, I didn't know she got injuried. That new middle blocker is playing and Tetori is not She made an awkward move in defense and ended up twisting her ankle early in yesterday's match but continued playing, however there's no point forcing her to play against the weak Belgians. I guess they'll still rest her tomorrow but have her back for the finals. I hope so, because things would be easier for Brazil

Quoted from "joanamss" Can anyone here confirm how will be played the Final Round? Cause in when you go in FIVB's site schedule says its going to be two groups of 3, but when you go to formula it says it will be a Round-Robin system... It's probably robin round and they just took the same template from last year and haven't fixed it yet

Quoted from "rbdfabio" They are missing Gabi,Juciely and Leia also. Plus Thaiza could come back. Quoted from "Sisko95" Well things are changing in Brazil. Of the players now available for selection this is the A-team. Of course some players (Fe Garay, Dani Lins) might come back, I still think this is the A-team Gabi will be backup, and probaly Juciely too (but I don't think she will be around for much more time). It looks like Thaisa will not be back. It will depend a lot on her recovery

Quoted from "rbdfabio" Should we call this Brazil`s B team? once only Natalia and Adenizia were part of the Olympic Squad? And Adenenizia was always a backup anyways. Who said this is the B team? I don't think it was never supposed to be that, but there a few players who will surely be back next year for the WCH and for Tokyo: Fe Garay, Dani Lins and Leia will be back, and they have been starters in the last years.
