Women's World Grand Prix 2017

I just read on volleytalk that in the past the "doors" was always open for Antonjevic to join the NT, but she choose not to because she did not wanted to be Maja`s sub. Could this true?

Yuan is really impressive and one of the TOP MB in the world. Silver at the WCH when she was only 17, and Olympic Champion at age 20. This week against Serbia she was China`s top score with 19 points ( 7 blocks). And also 21 against USA... and wait?? She`s all that and still only 21?? Vowww..

Fivb Women's U-20 World Championship - Mexico

Thank you very much for responding. I really like her because I find her very interesting, I will not be surprised if she makes to roster for the Senior World Championship next year. Quoted from "samsara" Quoted from "rbdfabio" I wonder is Yang Han-yu`s ethnicity background? Her skin is a little darker than from most Chinese, or is that just tan? I found this article talking about her and it says she will probably be replacing Xu Yunlin/Yan Ni in the senior team. Her and Yuan will be a deadly du...

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Quoted from "sitenoise" Quoted from "samsara" Sorry to say it out bluntly, both JPN & THA teams have not beat any of the major teams (BRA CHN USA SRB) in any "big" match that really matters Yes, I'm aware of that. My point is ... if they want beat those teams they shouldn't try to beat them by getting better at the game those other teams play. They need to throw another game at them. And they are doing that. They're just not good enough yet. I know analogies don't work, don't explain things, bu...

The arena is still packed for the award ceremony. And this is because Mexico Team is not even there. And arena for the men`s U20 was nearly empty. The crowd in this tournament was something special. Well done Mexico!!!!

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Roberta finished as the 10th best Blocker. The TOP 9 are all MB which makes her the best blocker among everyone else. 1# Adenezia 2# Vargas 3# Carol 10#Roberta 28#Malinov 29# Loyd Quoted from "Sidney" Quoted from "Matthias" Lloyd has to be the best blocking setter out there. At least I can't think of a better one now... Roberta is pretty good at it too! People do not notice that because she is new to the world, but she's constantly having 3 or 4 blocks per match

She has posted a few photos with some girl on instagram, that`s why I start to wondering if that was her girlfriend. Will be so ugly if the Dutch can not win this...Belgium is win less, this is the team that just finished 3rd in the GP and 4th in the OG. Quoted from "beri" Ahaha I actually met Rašić and I know there is not a way to act gay but l do get this gay vibe from her. She was hanging out A LOT with Özge Nur past season. And they were hugging and acting very funny at some matches. Özge ha...

I don`t think Belgium is that bad, they have been improving a lot. I had some hopes for them and was thinking they could even cause some upsets, but they played without their main players. But Yeah will be hard for them to get back in the Group 1. Quoted from "samsara" Moreover this is the last match of the BEL team in Group 1 of WGP after a couple of years enjoying the G1 spotlight. In years to come, it may be pretty hard for them to get the playing time in Group 1 [of the new WL]... just don't...

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

I totally agree about Malesevic, and I have said that many times. I don`t like when Malesevic gets basically ignore as a spiker on the court and everything goes to Mihajlovic and Boskovic. Malesevic can hit very hard sometimes and she can explore the block really well. If Serbia can turn Malesevic into a "reliable" spiker there will simply no way to stop them because Boskovic/Mihajlovic are already too much to handle. Not even to mention Rasic/Stevanovic/Veljokovic I can not wait to see what Laz...
