CRO OPP Jelena Sunjic to Ladies in Black Aachen. COL OPP Dayana Segovia to Rote Raben Vilsbiburg where she will replace Liana Mesa who ends her career and will work as coach for youth teams in the club. Maybe she'll still play in the club's 2nd league team too.

Quoted from "rbdfabio" I don`t know if you know but in 2013 Manabe came with a new strategy, I`m not sure about how it was, but it had something to do with the MB, ( again I don`t know exactly how it was) but I think they were playing with no MB, or using the MB as OH/OPP to kill the ball, once they don`t get much from the middle anyways. He called it "hybrid 6". He was using only one MB and used her opposite the setter and put 4 wing hitters around them. The setter would block on pos. 3 then. ...

Somehow it was predictable that Brazil wouldn't be able to keep the level from the first two sets, they cost them way too much energy. Let's see how long USA's comeback lasts.

If Nootsara and Thinkaow stay around for some more years, the new Thai generation is going to be much stronger than the old one. Ajcharaporn - Moksri - Pimpichaya trio is a lot stronger in attack than Onuma - Malika - Wilavan IMO.

Men's World Championship 2018

Quoted from "vabo" I want to make clear that Giani is the last person to blame for this disaster. Makes as much sense as blaming Guidetti for the collapse of the women's NT. Germany simply doesn't have young players to replace its aging veterans. It was already a miracle for a country with subzero interest in volleyball to qualify both teams for the Olympics and win medals in world competitions for such a long time. Saying this as I can already see Giani being fired/forced to resign after the u...

Men's World Championship 2018

Quoted from "vabo" @Matthias I thought you were exaggerating then the 17-14 point 2nd set and the following timeout by Giani made it pretty clear I wish I was exaggerating, but Kaliberda and Hirsch walk around with heads down, Fromm looks like he's about to start crying any minute and Giani seems to know that he's lost. There is not the slightest bit of life in this team And at 0:2 down, they're officially dead. There is no way they can get past both Belgium and Estonia anymore.

Men's World Championship 2018

I've never seen a team looking more desperate and frustrated on court than this German team. Belgium even scores with a completely misguided bump set going high over the net and dropping in the middle of German court

Just discovered what Guidetti said in press conference today Turkey coach Giovanni Guidetti: I feel ashamed. It was the worst match ever of my career. Sorry for the Thai fans that it wasn’t a good volleyball match. Congratulations to Thailand for their victory. Obviously he forgot some matches of the last 10 years because I remember worse. Maybe not worse than the 3rd set though...

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Quoted from "Umu11" Which matches were decent? I am not upset because we lost most of our matches. I am upset because players didn't show anything special. I am not saying anything about Guidetti, i am talking about the players. The one against Brazil on the first weekend, the one against China on the second weekend and the one against Italy yesterday were not bad at all. What do you expect from these players? They simply are nothing special and the performance they showed in those matches I me...
