Serbian NT 2017

Quoted from "rbdfabio" I`m still really disappointed that Serbia could not beat Brazil. Mallesevic and Busa must fix their reception, sometimes they can be really awful, I don`t remember in which game it was but Malesevic made 3 or 4 mistakes in a row. It is hard to think they are spending enough time practicing. Zivkovic - I used to like her, but not anymore. Her game is pathetic, she only knows how to set Mijajlovic and Boskovic. And I don`t think she will ever change that. Maybe Randenkovic ...

Quoted from "jaeden85" throw somebody to the dogs to allow someone to be criticized or attacked, often in order to protect yourself from being criticized or attacked I reallyfelt as if I'd been thrown to the dogs just to save other people's reputations. I can confirm this is how the expression is used here in the UK at least

Congrats Brazil, great performance by a team that I would never have thought would win at the start of the tournament Italy . Sadly they kind of fell apart at the end. I like Mazzanti but I really don't know why he didn't make a few changes in the 5th set when things were going wrong. Still an excellent first tournament for this new team, can't wait to see how they do at the ECH

Quoted from "rbdfabio" I don`t get it how Egonu and Boskovic gets blocked by Brazil, but Serbia/Italy can`t stop Tandara. Partly because Italy and Serbia sometimes become predictable. But remember that Boskovic and Egonu are scoring way more points than Tandara as well

Quoted from "akitoakie" Btw, why the crowd booed him? Has he done anything wrong? Drug scandal? Yes, he has received I think 2 drug bans. Also, of course everyone wanted Bolt to win his last race

What a fightback from Brazil! We will see how Egonu responds to this. Great players can come back even stronger after a disappointment

Quoted from "ST2008" Quoted from "Kk15" But this is a different case, she just have to play a one important match and then she can have all the attention and rest in the world... if it's actually minor I don't think a single match can transform it in a chronic injury... Thaisa Menezes wouldn't agree with you. As for Zhu Ting, I wish all my heart that she didn't aggravate her situation. Because she will participate the Grand Champions Cup in September and then she will go back to play with Vakif...

Quoted from "Umu11" So do you think this gives him the right to make that face to players? He is allowed to be frustrated with players who he believes should be playing better. I only really have a problem when he takes a TO simply to yell at a player and make her feel bad in front of everyone. Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" Saying Terzic alone is the key to Serbia's success is pretty funny No one was saying that. I think he definitely played a part in their success but I would never take any...

You may not like his style and that is fair enough, I probably criticise him as much as anyone on here. But when he took over Serbia (Yugoslavia in those days) were nothing and now they are possibly the best team in the world and have been winning medals for over a decade. There are many things I don't like about his approach but he has clearly done a good job for Serbia over the years. Players like Nikolic, Ognjenovic, Brakocevic, Rasic and Boskovic have become some of the best in the world par...

For some people it probably does motivate them but he does need to relax a bit more. While I agree he comes across as a grumpy guy, he does seem to have a good relationship with many of his players. Maybe some players (Nikolic, Busa, Zivkovic, etc) are his favourites because they respond well to his style

Serbia were very unlucky with injuries at London 2012. Terzic is great for developing players IMO but I agree as an actual tactician and motivator in matches he makes far too many mistakes.

I wasn't sure if this Brazil team would be able to compete with the very best teams, but they sure showed me. They still seem to be inconsistent, so I'm not sure they will play so well tomorrow, but that will come with experience. Serbia . If we just look at the names there is no way Serbia should lose to this Brazil. If Mihajlovic has one of her quite regular bad games then too much comes down to Boskovic and she can't win on her own. I haven't seen the stats but I also thought the block was no...

The commentator keeps saying it and he's right, Busa is killing the team . Why is Malesevic still sitting on the bench? Mihajlovic also needs to pick her game up, but I can see why Terzic would keep her on

Quoted from "ST2008" Congrat Netherlands team for their tenacity. I'm a Chinese NT fan, but I wish so much Netherlands win this match. Big thumb down for the chinese coach for exhausting his main players for nothing. Thumb down for the Chinese fans for their disgraceful behavior (booing) during the tiebreak. That's kind of the point of home advantage . It happens in every sport where there is a home team. It's up to the Dutch players to ignore the fans. Of course there is a line fans should nev...
