Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Quoted from "USAvolleyfan" I'm torn on two sides.. On the one hand I think this has been a relatively good Grand Prix for the USA since there are a lot of new faces, they try to get used to this new system, their setter is now a starter, etc.. On the other hand this really is not a B/C team.. They indeed miss their starting MBs and OHs, and their libero retired, but Dixon and Gibby are not that much worse than Akinradewo/Adams.. In favt both Dixon and Gibby have had a lot of playing time in the...

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Quoted from "Rffno" I am the silent reader for many years. But today i must say, i truly disappointed with usa. And for me lloyd is a incredible setter. TBH USA is playing almost 2nd/3rd roster and still qualifies to the finals. It's not that bad. Still without Hodge, Robinson, Hill & Larson, Akinradewo. As for OPP, this is continous problem for USA since removing Hooker. For this girls (Kingdon, Hackley and rest) it's first experience as starters so don't you expect too much?

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Quoted from "vabo" Ok, but Polish Federation is one of the richest in the world. We always organize tournaments in WGP and WL. I think next year will be more supporters due to better opponents. There were also rumors that Poland wanted to host WGP finals and next Womens WCH. There was rumour that Poland was already given the WGP finals granted they will advance to Division 1. But still just a rumour About WCH, I also heard that Poland is one of the participants for organization.

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Quoted from "Phil" Quoted from "JoanaBG" God, I still hope this announced restructuring will turn out to be some kind of belated April Fools joke. While I'm not against expanding the format to 16 teams, everything else about it is a big mess. No, that's not a joke. I can't find the schedule but there were some rumors that pool with Brazil, Netherlands, Poland and other team will be played in Poland. And Poland is going to fight to get the '7 years spot'. Actually it's going to be quite weird to...

2017 / 2018 Transfer Rumors & Discussion

Quoted from "Mimek" WHat about DIjkema? I have a feeling that she will play in Chemik, but they already have 5 foreigners Yes, but only Balkestein and Veljkovic are supposed to be in starting six, so they still can have 1 more as setter.

Brazilian NT 2017

Unfortunately Poland is missing 3 of 4 best MBs (Tokarska and Ptak + also Polanska), 2 best OHs (Mucha and Medrzyk), OPP (Zaroslinska). So this squad playing in Brazil is probably not able to play so much better. At least with Medrzyk we could really play good against Brazil, not like now

Polish NT 2017

According to doctors, she won't play ECH also because it means she is few months out. So now the situation is even worse and we will play with Grajber and Smarzek as OHs probably, but still we advanced to WGP I so it's not that bad, some players like Tomsia will be back as well. Maybe at least for ECH Mucha can be back...

Montreux Volley Masters 2017 - 6-11.06.2017

Actually Poland managed to lose to Czech Republic so I don't think our level is somewhere high. Something around Germany, actually missing Zaroslinska, Ptak, Grejman and Mucha, 2/3 of them should be in starting six. But of course comparing to WCH Q less pressure can do good.

Polish NT 2017

Quoted from "JoanaBG" He's not entirely wrong, though. Poland is a team without any concept going back at least 5 years. I don't think there's another team that tries out so many different players - it feels like every single local player from Orlen Liga was a part of the NT at some point. That's not the way to go, you need some continuity and long term planning. Serbia went through something similar in 2009-10 when Terzić would bring in new no-hopers all the time and of course we had the worst...

Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

Quoted from "Toguttt" I didn't forget that Pomì won CL last year. And Stevanovic was the best player in the final together with Piccinini. The reason why Pomì can't play in CL this season is because Italian league is so competitive that it's difficult to qualify, while in Poland the level is so low that Chemik has no real rivals there, almost like Volero in Switzerland Quoted from "LLOYD" It's funny to compare Italian league with Polish league. I can surely say Italian league is the 1st place l...

Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

Actually Pomi has big chances for CL final 4 ;D Huge as hell. At least Chemik beat Cogneliano in CL if you forgot. Veljkovic is in Poland because of CL and her boyfriend Lisinac.

Polish NT 2017

Quoted from "WZP" I would like say a few words about this team. If we achieve qualification for WCH, this would be a miracle, fur sure. I don't believe in this team, with these players and coach. The first thing that I see is chaos. There is not any link between players. If we have to receive the ball, whole nightmare begins. We have quite good service, but would that be enough for 2nd place? I don''t know what some of the players do in NT, but some of the players don't know what they do on cou...

2018 FIVB World Championship - Japan

Quoted from "JoanaBG" Looking at the pool compsition again - how the hell did FIVB/CEV allow the draw to be so unbalanced? Pool F is a complete and utter joke. None of these teams could be ranked higher than 3rd place in pool C. Pool A is only slightly better. Russia, then huge gap, then Croatia, then another huge gap. Looking forward to Turkey vs Bulgaria, it should be a cracker. Pools D and E also promise some excitement. Germany is 3rd in CEV ranking so... What counts is ECH 2013&2015, WCH 2...

2018 FIVB World Championship - Japan

Quoted from "WZP" Quoted from "Polish96" It is a good thing we are playing against cyprus tonight - any other team, maybe outside Iceland would totally destroy us Unfortunately it is true.. take a look at our men's team. They played brilliant against good Iran thanks to very good training. And girls...? Do they train at all? These stupid balls which falls on our side give sad picture. The only chance that we will will against Serbia is well performance of Tomsia and Medrzyk. Plesnierowicz with ...

Yes but they won't play anyway hopefully. In normal conditions we could have Mucha, Zaroslinska and Ptak instead so don't worry they should join.

Turkish NT 2017

Quoted from "serdar" Quoted from "rbdfabio" I think all other positions they are "fine" but could be so much better having the domestic league they have. Guidetti has a lot of work to do. How come other positions are just "fine"? Naz is the best european setter with Ognjenovic and Gamze is also one of the best right now. Eda is currently best European MB after Rasiç. Kübra showed how elite player she become during CL and WCCH. Neriman played in final of Italian league as starter in Modena. Gözd...
