Germany NT 2017

19 players are training in Schwerin for ECH preparation. Dora Grozer is out, she hasn't fully recovered yet from a knee injury earlier in summer. Lisa Izquierdo joins the team for the first time this summer after recovering from an ankle injury and Berit Kauffeldt is back after a hand surgery. Lisa Gründing apparently left a good impression in the few days she was with the team before WGP because she was invited again. Koslowski intends to reduce the team to 16 players for the matches against Tu...

Serbian NT 2017

Rasic is not in the wide roster of Serbia for ECH: http://www.cev.lu/Competition-Area/Match…38&type=LegList Is it just a mistake on CEV site or is there any reason why she'd miss the tournament and not even be in the big list? After all she is on the most recent photos on SRB fed website, so most likely a mistake of CEV...

Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2017/2018

Münster loses Hanna Orthmann who is bought out of her contract by Italian A1 team Monza, coached by ex-NT coach Luciano Pedulla. Probably he discovered her during his year with German NT in 2015. However I'm really surprised she takes this step so early It's for sure an incredible opportunity to grow for her but it will probably be a hard season too, getting used to this level of play and training.

Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2017/2018

Quoted from "kenny3999" any news about Pogany? Thougt she will go to Potsdam... but see the articel... I expected her in Vilsbiburg or maybe even Erfurt, but now all teams have a libero. That's the problem with Köpenick closing, they were always a good address for young German players to grow. So Pogany either has to go abroad or has to hope some team has a bit of money left for another libero. Maybe Suhl doesn't want to rely on 39 year old Lauerova to play through the whole season as only libe...

2017 / 2018 Transfer News

Quoted from "Phil" Kavalenka played somewhere in Portugal. She is 18 y.o. but she is a starting-six player in senior Portugal NT. She is 193 cm tall and used to play as MB. I don't know more about her. She plays as OPP, not MB. She's the biggest talent in Portugal and certainly has the potential to become a good player on international level as well.

Serbian NT 2017

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" The most prestitious title of this year is WGP and World League. Those have ranking points. ECH does not. Of course it does. EDIT: Wow, it doesn't anymore I'm sure in the past continental championship results were included in the world ranking, but not anymore. But as Phil explained, it does count for CEV ranking.

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Quoted from "beri" I didn't watch the awarding ceremony but Im shocked Egonu is not best Opp, because she really WAS the best Opp for this Grand Prix. I could even see MVP going Egonu's way tbh... I don't agree. She was for sure the most impressive player with some of her kills, but she still makes way too many mistakes. Her meltdowns in the decisive moments of the final are not worthy of an MVP award or best OPP award (yet).

In some way I am glad it was Zhu that hit the last ball out because otherwise the setter would have been bashed for not setting her Congrats to Italy Where are the people saying Italy can't beat anyone with two Bosettis on court?

Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2017/2018

Wow...I was totally sure Anna Pogany was going to play in Vilsbiburg again Now all teams have a libero and she doesn't have a team even though she does a decent job even in NT when she gets to play...
