2018 New Volleyball League

Quoted from "andrea" Thanks for posting this info. I can accept any non-top level teams to play in this team, considering the business benefit brought to this sport. The only team deserved to be in but missing from this list is Slovenia. They achieved remarkable international result in the past two years at WL and EC. Don't forget Belgium!

2017 Men's South American Championship | Chile

So I've just read that Venezuela beat Argentina and can someone explain to me how the hell did that happen? Regardless of that, it's good for the tournament to have an upset like this. I wish Chile could produce some other quality players and be able to face the big teams as well.

Brazilian NT 2017

Quoted from "Ayra" But wasn't Gabi called to the NT when she was just 17 or 18 and Natalia was just 16 or 17 when she first joined the NT? What makes them different from the other young players? Btw is Drussyla not joining the U23? Gabi I believe was 19, yes. But that was coming after a superb season in Rexona early in the Olympic cycle (2013). Natália did play in the adult NT at a very young age, yes, but as I said, that was ages ago (12 years, to be precise) and she was just named MVP of her ...

Brazilian NT 2017

Quoted from "aXeLbEn12" Quoted from "saishuu" Some of you guys need to chill with the U-20/18 girls, they are not gonna be called to the NT any time soon. It's kinda crazy how everyone's putting so much hope onto Júlia Bergmann when she's only like 16. She has big potential, sure, but there's still a long way to go until she makes it to the senior NT (if she does). I think the team is good as it is now. We'll have to see how Edinara and Lorenne perform in the next U23 championship and the next ...

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Quoted from "rbdfabio" Brazil is the last team we want to see winning this years Grand Prix. And if they win this year again FIVB should just cancel the GP...because it will be really F%$#%$$%%% and every team should get spanked really hard. Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Quoted from "sitenoise" Rosa Marie's casual approach to hair-bunning seems a little un-Brazillian, but she's starting to win me over--as a work in progress. Roberta concerns me still. A setter should exude more confidence. She always looks somewhere between nervous and terrified to me. Rosamaria gives the NT a different vibe in a lot of ways, which is always a pleasure to watch. Roberta is like that all the time btw, I doubt she'll ever change her expressions durings matches. lol

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" The crowd just thinned significantly Belgium better give them the fight or there won't be enough loud voices to cheer for them when they get thru this set. Well, the first game ended after 12PM, so people probably got hungry and left for lunch.

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Quoted from "samsara" The host team was scheduled to play first, consequently the NED v BEL match has an empty stadium now, most spectators left already 'cool' arrangement --> it becomes cool when there are less people That is due to Globo, who owns the rights to broadcast the games. Whenever there's volleyball, they always schedule the match to 10AM, so with that the other teams have to play afterwards.

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Quoted from "samsara" Quoted from "rbdfabio" The spikes from the back-row by Natalia were beautiful, one after another after another and they kept coming. Serbia and China better be prepared because if Brazil plays like this they could end up winning the GP once again. I never really liked Rosamaria, but now I really like her. I think she will be the blonde version of Jaque for Brazil. Her looks will her a lot with endorsements and marketing. And during watching this match, it came into my thou...
