FIVB U19 World Championship 2017 | Bahrain

http://u19.boys.2017.volleyball.fivb.com/ Almost missed that one. Looks like there is no official streaming but maybe there will be for the knock out phase.... EDIT: Results/Ranking section on the official site is somehow messed up. Wikipedia got it better: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_FIVB_…ld_Championship Pool B looks interesting. Japan is leading with 3:0, while Poland is already out with 0:3.

Germany - Volleyball Bundesliga (VBL) 2017/18

Interesting move by Friedrichshafen. Their new OH will be the old MB. According to the club, norwegian player Andreas Takvam is already training for the OH position. He was the best MB of the league in the last season, so this truly comes as a little surprise. That being said, he surely has the motorical skills and the athleticism for this move. But how he will deal with reception and defence still remains open. It will be interesting to watch.... http://www.vfb-volleyball.de/medien/news/2017/20...

FIVB World Tour 2017

Quoted from "YavorD" Quoted from "TimHH" Quoted from "TimHH" For the sake of the competition, i don't think its a good idea that the german federation uses both slots, especially if you consider Lars Flüggen's injury, suffered during WCH. I hate to say it, but i don't think that Lorenz has the level to compete in this kind of competition and additionally, Dollinger/Erdmann have delivered close to nothing so far this season. It was reported today that both players will be kicked off from the fed...

CEV European Championship 2017

Quoted from "Kk15" I read Van Walle team beat Rangier-Carambula... I thought he was training with Belgium NT for the indoor ECh! i remember, a while ago, i thought about this too in a similar context but somehow forgott about it. Now you remembered me and i used google. Solution of the riddle: There is Tom, the beach pro, and his twin brother Gert, the indoor pro Youre Welcome

FIVB U23 World Championship - 2017 |

Quoted from "rbdfabio" FIVB will be streaming the games. https://www.youtube.com/user/videoFIVB/v…502&shelf_id=84 I will risk a view, mainly because the "new rules" will be tested. It looks like they gave up on changing the rule concerning the backrow attack. But the new scoring and "landing behind the line after serving" will be into effect at this tournament.

Friendly matches

Quoted from "rbdfabio" Seeeeee, some people wants to think World League and Grand Prix are worthless tournaments and they don`t understand why even exists. But why teams are always playing so many friendly games? And they all just played WL ....don`t they need rest after such a long and exhausting season??? Now imagine if there were not WG or WL, these teams would have to play even more and more friendly games.... Well, imho WL/WG is not the problem or at least only part of the problem. It is a...

German NT 2017

As reported by the federation, Moritz Reichert (OH) and Egor Bogachev (OH) got injured during the team's trip to Finland and will both miss the ECH. So far so bad...... As replacements for the upcoming test on Saturday against Belgium, they announced Linus Weber (Op, U19 NT) and Ivan Batanov (L, U19 NT). Now this looks really strange. Both kids haven't played any match in Bundesliga yet and don't even play on the positions of the injured players !! Where is Karlitzek, Sossenheimer . You can only...

FIVB World Tour 2017

Quoted from "YavorD" As weird as it may seem though, the reigning Olympic champions Alison-Bruno and the World Tour title holders Samoilovs-Smedins are not among the best 8 The Latvians are only 12th in the current World ranking, whereas Alison-Bruno are 7th, but they are only the third best Brazilian team this year. Samoilovs-Smedins are clearly struggling in 2017, not having won any medals so far. Alison-Bruno "only" won the Rio Open in May, which is way below their standards. Still, I get th...

2017 - 2018 transfer rumours

Quoted from "vabo" Wow, what behavior. Once you sign a contract you're bound there, like it or not. Well, negotiating on buy-outs do happen in professional sports almost on daily basis. But i agree with you that once the clubs insists on their contracts, it should be over. Part of being a pro-player would mean to accept this and to do your job. Its surely not like Perrin/Tillie would starve at their current clubs. I think, this agent is doing a terrible favor to his clients to publicly threat w...

2017 - 2018 transfer rumours

Quoted from "vabo" Quoted from "Mamdani" What happened to Bolivar with Lyneel, and what is happening now to Jastrzebski with Tillie and Resovia with Perrin... Well, that's a scandal. Shame on FIVB I missed that, what happened? Perrin and Tillie received offers from China and want to go there, despite having valid contracts with Resovia/JW. Their manager now is trying to put pressure on clubs to let them go: "....Nevertheless, it is difficult and not productive for the club to force him to stay....

FIVB World Championship 2017

Quoted from "rbdfabio" Austria had 20-17 in the first set but Evandro scored 3 aces and tied at 20-20. Just watched it and: I will probably never become a fan of seeing the 2,10 guy playing defence, partly even on Andre's serve, but that was just amazing. Poor Ösis, they had so many chances...... But massive credits to them, they have probably played the tournament of their lives and after a little rest they hopefully won't feel bitter about that silver. A lot of excitement in this tournament, ...

Next surprise: Herrera/Gavira just lost to Varenhorst/van Garderen who have previously struggled a lot on tour this year. Can't wait for the old farts Doppler/Horst (AUT) trying to reach the semis. Athmosphere should be cracking in Vienna Quoted from "Kk15" I'm mourning for my beloved Nicolai-Lupo I was a bit sad for Raghieri-Carambula but I hadn't many exception in them since this year they're quite off imho, but I was hoping so badly for a medal for Daniele and Paolo Yes i hate to say it, but ...

Bruno/Allison out against Saxton/Schalk (CAN) Could not watch, as apparantly the centre court stream was already geo-blocked for the match of german ladies afterwards. But of course they will start their stream only with the ladies match. EDIT Looks like they have "technical issues" with the centre court stream. Sp probably no geo-blocking involved.

FIVB World Championship 2017

Interesting match now starting on Center Court. Its Claes/Hughes vs. ludwig/Walkenhorst. L/W lost both matches against C/H so far, and due to many reasons, lack the dominance of the olympic year. So a US victory is not out of this world. Lets see what will happen..... https://www.beachvienna.com/en/media/mediathek EDIT: Very dominant performance by Laura and Kira. Thought this match could be closer but C/H paid badly for their inexperience and were outsmarted big time by L/W. Hats off too for th...
