After a disastrous performance yesterday, Luburic plays well today, though Serbia is trailing.

2018 New Volleyball League

Thanks for posting this info. I can accept any non-top level teams to play in this team, considering the business benefit brought to this sport. The only team deserved to be in but missing from this list is Slovenia. They achieved remarkable international result in the past two years at WL and EC.

2017 FIVB World League

While France grabbed a phenomenal victory over Brazil to reclaim the WL title, the final game evidenced once more Toniutti is very conservative about the attacking options (N'gapeth and Boyer only) at important time. As the game approached the later stage, he's increasingly reliant on N'gapeth to the extent that the opponent blockers almost didn't need to guess. A superb N'gapeth today helped the team get away with the trophy back home, but you can't expect it to happen every time. I think that ...

Why is Women Volleyball more popular than Men Volleyball- here ?

Can anyone from Italy, Poland or Russia comment whether men's volleyball is more popular at forums communicated in their own languages instead of English?

2017 FIVB World League

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" Bulgaria needs to train better setters with the middles blockers. It seems like that's going to be a problem for them when they are separated by countries or miles though. Bulgaria was one-dimensional in offense and faces lots of troubles with blocks. Their passing wasn't great but the best setters in the world are capable of turning trash into gold. The lack of creativity was seen best today. Even Bruno wasn't that creative with Bulgaria. So with that, it just ...

2017 FIVB World League

Quoted from "LDvolley" Argentina played very good volleyball in all the last weekend despite playing with two midget OHs and a MB as Opp De Cecco worked his magic. Albeit "midget", Argentine OHs are indeed very good - they seldom make stupid mistakes and do not waste chances. Both Poglajen and Bruno are very skillful and reliable. Indeed, Argentina played a very good Olympics last year, thanks to the arts of Velasco. I believe he could maximize the potential of this team, in spite of their phys...

Iranian NT 2017

Quoted from "Kaziyski" I've watched yday vs Poland. I'm still shocked how poor they looked in all aspects. Offensive was predictable, block didn't exist and reception in 5th match they were looking worse than team under heavy workload and without any matches. Simply the worst Iran I've seen in years, if they continue like this it won't be good at all. P.S. Where is Mahmoudi? Ghafour was hopeless Mahmoudi has retired from NT after Rio Olympics.

Iranian NT 2017

Quoted from "Kaziyski" Iran is looking tragic on European tour. I never saw them playing this poor, simply horrible. I'm already wondering is Kolaković good choice for them as level of game even in 5th match is pathetic. They don't have the upper hand to pick the head coach. Iran is not a bad team, but they don't have enough quality players to fill up the 6 positions on court.

Argentina NT 2017

Quoted from "kondzio" well, Palacios almost doesn't play in Poland, he's always on bench and that's it That's a pity. He played very well last year at WL and OG. He deserves to be given more chance at NT level.

Italy – Superlega Unipolsai 2016-2017

Quoted from "rbdfabio" Quoted from "TheDiplomat" Yet again there is nowhere to watch the Quarter Finals...this is brutal its ruining the league, its ruining the following. Its a shame because its the best league in the world too. Yes there is, the league does a phenomenal job having their own channel, you just have to pay for it, and it is not expensive at all. http://www.legavolley.it/LVC/ Can I watch it from out of Italy? If so, is it possible to watch playback? I tried navigating the site bu...

Italy – Superlega Unipolsai 2016-2017

Among the four starting players in Modena, N'gapeth, Petric, Holt and Le Roux, who's considered a domestic player? I recall I've read that only three foreign players are allowed to play on court at the same time, and Le Roux was sidelined earlier in the season because of this reason.

2017 FIVB World League

Quoted from "ZMu" I thought Japan was the last-ranked team in Division 2 last year... how come it remains in Division 2 this year?Is it again something out of the Japan-FIVB romance? FIVB may simply give out the following "official" reasons: - Cuba originally in Group 2 withdrew from the competition (that's sad) - Portugal ranked last in the preliminary round instead of Japan, but they hosted the Final Round and therefore was waived from relegation. Anyhow, romance is the true reason If the las...
