FIVB U23 World Championship - 2017 |

Quoted from "saishuu" So... Brazil and Slovenia are pretty much locked in the semifinals and the last spots should go to either Bulgaria/Turkey and China/D. Republic, right? Nevermind, Brazil choked.

Tokyo 2020 Qualification rules

Quoted from "rbdfabio" I think the Olympics should have the Host plus the TOP 11 best teams, I don`t care if they are all from Europe, America or Asia, if the 11 teams happens to be all from the same continent, so be it. The Olympics is not hosted by FIVB, which means it is not like the WCH or any other event where it is nice and smart to have countries from all over to attract sponsors and fans. If WL/GP does not have continental spot, why would the most important tournament have it? The weake...

Brazilian NT 2017

Quoted from "Mkmalaluan" Her stats in japan vs brazil match id 8/8..... good job girl!! Yeah, and 1/8 in attacks... I would not take this U23 champioship as a parameter for anything to be honest, BUT I am loving my girl Maira taking that OH spot instead of freaking Gabi Cândido. Still do not know why Wagão is not using the Lorenne/Edinara/Drussyla formation everyone expected to see though.

Women's World Grand Champions Cup 2017

Quoted from "Maxwell" Don't get Jordon Larson as one of the best outside hitters. Well. she was by far USA's best player this tournament, and since USA had to have one name in the dream team... Personally I'd have given it to Gabi.

Brazilian NT 2017

Quoted from "Mkmalaluan" the female adult team of brazilian volleyball had an amazing year this 2017... winning 3 championships names montreux, fivb and south american championship and a silver medal of the world's grand champion's cup!!!! Now, the excitement for the brazilian superliga 2017-2018 is really coming into our nerves! And bet that all coaches and tacticians will be previewing all matches with teams whose players are in the adult brazilian nt. For now, i will be keeping an eye to Edi...

Women's World Grand Champions Cup 2017

Quoted from "ossubtus" thanks, sitenoise, for your kind offer. i'm now watching the remainder of the BRA x CHN match. almost getting to the end. it's funny how CHN demolished BRA in 2nd set, then BRA pretty much is doing the same to CHN in set 3, but then CHN puts in all the reserves (except for zhu ting), and the reserves start fighting back and almost catch up with BRA. yes, height is not everything but CHN players are not just tall, they have good skills for the most part. RUS and DOM are al...

Women's World Grand Champions Cup 2017

Quoted from "ossubtus" Quoted from "serdar" Quoted from "ST2008" Aiyana Whitney Who would give a shit to such things? Male team has always been 'white all' nobody cared about it. US men's NT is all white? that'd be news to the shojis, christenson and muagututia. Patch too

Chinese NT 2017

I am more than happy to see my queen Zeng Chunlei back in the team. To me it was really unfair to cut her from the OG team in favor of Gong and seeing her back is a pleasure.

Women's World Grand Champions Cup 2017

Quoted from "Emil" And if Japanese volleyball federation and FIVB want to hold a competitive and entertaining tournament, why the heck they invited Korea? They could have invited Serbia for instance, which is supposedly the biggest candidate to win any Euro competitions, or Dominican Republic if they want it to be more exotic and fair since both Japan and China belong to Asia. Men's European Championship 2017

Quoted from "Kaziyski" Quoted from "saishuu" I get home and Poland lost in straight sets and the Czechs are beating France? Did I come home to an alternate reality? Sure Slovenia vs. Poland was an open game, but the Poles almost always deliver at home at least and I expected them to win, especially given how poorly Slovenia had been playing. Slovenia was poor only in last set vs Bulgaria Twice 24:22 vs Russia, +3 vs BUL in 1st set, 2-3 attacks for 25:24 in 2nd... Yeah, but they still lost both ...

FIVB Women's U18 World Championship - Argentina

Quoted from "ossubtus" just watched the first set and the beginning of the 2nd set (DOM went from 0-3 to 6-3 on the strength of natalia martinez serving and their blocking). i thought #8, martinez, is also very impressive and very promising for the DOM girls. they sure have a bright future, didn't they win under-23 last year? i remember brayelin got MVP, i think. Yeah, I was really impressed by Martinez as well. She looked like a pro, never showing any nerves. Seems like we will soon have 3 Mar...
