Serbian NT 2017

Quoted from "JoanaBG" But I feel terrible for Sanja because she was so looking forward to the NT season this year and so determined to make an impact this time... It must be heartbreaking. Definitely with you on this one And it still hurts me to think about what her career could have looked like without all the injuries

Serbian NT 2017

As much as I like Malagurski (or rather the player she once was?), I can't blame Terzic for this decision. She just didn't deliver... Obviously Bjelica wasn't much better, but someone needs to back up Boskovic and I think I would have gone with Bjelica as well.

It's exactly Bulgaria's long history of failures makes me sceptical, but in theory they have the ability to beat both Russia and Turkey. IMO their problem is that strong serving teams such as Turkey can very easily cause trouble for them because Vasileva is a very vulnerable receiver and Filipova and Rabadzhieva aren't strong enough to cover her. Also Emiliya Nikolova tends to screw up when the going gets tough. I think Bulgaria has a better shot at beating Russia than beating Turkey actually......

I agree. I don't know why Polish fans dislike her so much, I think she's better than Skorupa. Maybe Skorupa's best is better than Wolosz's best, but Wolosz doesn't have Skorupa's meltdowns. She even makes Efimienko look like a real good attacker Looking at the latest developments, German team quite likely can finish 3rd in the pool and then be eliminated by the 2nd ranked of the pool with Russia and Turkey

NED - POL yesterday 3:1, today 3:2. I could watch only some parts of both matches but I found it quite entertaining and on a decent level. GER-BEL yesterday in an inofficial training match 5:0, today in the official match 1:3 (25-21, 24-26, 19-25, 15-25), tomorrow another inofficial match.

Italy - Serie A2 2017/18

Quoted from "SHAME" Dito. McMahon sure isn't Gamova but for A2 she'll be totally ok, she'll certainly be one of the outstanding players in A2.

If it's true then it's really disgusting, BUT: Google tells me that he allegedly "touched" a player in her room which is still something different than "tried to rape". And I have a major deja-vu of the Dragutin Baltic story. He was also accused of a similar story several years ago and if I remember well it turned out that players invented it to get rid of him or at least something in that direction... FIVB U23 World Championship - 2017 |

Quoted from "samsara" WOW!! Hard to believe! The small Balkan country ex-Yugoslavia, Slovenia, has so strong the U23 team, they just posted a clean sweep victory steamrolling the Chinese team 4-0 ( 15-11, 15-12, 15-5, 15-8 ). Amazing! With such a strong U23 team SLO is just one step away in growing up a strong senior team! Actually their U23 team is almost identic to their senior team

Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2017/2018

Vanessa Agbortabi is on the official team photo of Vilsbiburg. She signed a contract with them for 2018/19 season and is supposed to spend this season in VCO Berlin in order to finish school there, but maybe plans have changed? Last season she joined Vilsbiburg for the playoffs...they sure need another OH/Opp.

I guess winning two sets against NED, albeit without Dijkema, Sloetjes and Grothues, is not that bad. But the three sets we lost were just too awful to be any happy Lippmann got blocked all over in the first two sets and I think in tie-break she had 0 pts and at least 2 errors. Brinker once again couldn't deliver a single perfect pass but once Geerties and Dürr covered her she was at least pretty reliable in attack. Our blocking is a joke and in defense only Dürr exists. But what worries me the ...

Women's World Grand Champions Cup 2017

Quoted from "rbdfabio" A lot of users here are so rude, Personal disrespect is so not necessary besides being so childish. Just because I have a different opinion than yours you don`t need to get personal with me and this goes for a couple of other users as well. Since we just had a Swedish saying, I'll add a German one fitting here, though it's difficult to translate: "It echoes out of the forest the same way you shout into it"
