Now Germany is back to their normal performance, not terrible but that won't be enough to win. Lisa Gründing is such a good blocker! And she plays as MB since just 2-3 years.

Lippmann 8/12 Rahimova 5/13 And Germany with most serves towards Mammadova. I really hope they can keep this level but I'm still sceptical.

Germany looks like a completely different team today Very focused in all elements, even Brinker is a bit less terrible than before but still our worst player

In the last two points for Germany Rahimova made Diouf look like a libero

Quoted from "Kk15" Quoted from "ossubtus" what do you mean bagher? I hadn't realize it's called like that only (I guess) in Italian, since it's not an Italian word... It's the fundamental you use for receiving, digging, passing. Does it have a name in English? Italian "bagher" comes from German "Bagger" which is a machine to dig holes, Google tells me it's called excavator It's used here as well for the reception technique.

After 2 sets Rahimova with 22 pts and 62% I don't understand Poland's serving strategy, all to Samadova and hardly ever to Mammadova.

Quoted from "Sisko95" What has Bahar done recently to get into the team except marry the coach? I've asked myself the same question. Serbia winning 3rd set puts an end to all math games, Belgium is eilminated.

If Belgium really wins this match 3:1 then NED and CZE should agree to share points in the first 4 sets so both are guaranteed in the next round and play the tiebreak for the win But right now even Serbia's bench looks better than Belgium.

Quoted from "JoanaBG" Quoted from "Matthias" Serbia playing with Mirkovic, Bjelica, Milenkovic and Popovic Serbia had secured the frst place already before the game. They played the first two sets with the regular lineup (except for Pušić over Blagojević) and were mostly awful like usually when there's nothing substantial to play for. Yeah I thought so. Yet I don't like it because Belgium still plays for 3rd place and can pass the loser of CZE-NED (who both beat Belgium...).

What a nerve wrecking match Emiliya Dimitrova is much more reliable at crucial points than Emiliya Nikolova used to be I think it was a mistake of Guidetti to bring Naz back in. He was hoping for her to strengthen the block but the team played better with Gamze. So Turkey needs to beat Ukraine in order to avoid a complete disaster.

Wow that was a tough (non-)call at 14-14. Dimitrova might have interfered with Naz's set but once again, it wasn't clearly visible. At least this time Guidetti controlled his temper.

Just watched the scene in question of TUR-RUS since I couldn't watch the match yesterday... First of all, reading about all the drama I thought it had happened towards the end of the set when it was tight and not at 14:10. Then, for me it's really impossible to tell if the ball hit the ground or Tretyakova's foot. I watched on Youtube with 0.25 speed, in the first angle it looks like it was clearly on the ground, in the second angle it looks like it was clearly on her foot. So if it's impossible...

Quoted from "Toguttt" Why is Hanna Orthmann not in NT? Good question. She wasn't really great in the last league season but she's a talent we need to develop. My guess is that she needed the summer off to prevent herself from too much exhaustion and also too much pressure. It's not easy to be considered a big talent...

Quoted from "Umu11" Quoted from "Matthias" Quoted from "Ttom" 2003 was that match when Dummler was blocked 4 times in row? probably that was that 3:2 in 2005 right? 2003 OH´s were Grun and Atika...I really dont remember clearly that In 2003 we played with Grün and Bouagaa. Now that you mention it I remember the other drama match from 2005 The worst ECH ever played by any German team with 11th place. No, Grun was OPP. Judith Slyvester was the other OH with Bouagaa. No she wasn't. Sylvester was O...
