European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

Quoted from "beri" Guidetti is really biased and doesn't even try to change his usual ways at all. He likes Naz, so he can't imagine Gamze as a starter even though she is much better. Meryem played like shit but he still let her play bcs he likes her. He didn't bring Beyza but his worthless (I'm sorry(not)) wife and lets her even stay at a crucial part in stead of KUBRA... He is angry all the time. He takes three liberos to the tournamnt. He doesn't bother watching U tournaments to add talented...

It doesn't matter who should have won the point, the ref was right to give Guidetti the red card. Coaches simply cannot react like that and be aggressive towards officials and expect to get away with it. He is an experienced coach and a great one, he should know better, but clearly he doesn't.

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" I'm glad the russian coach has opened his eyes regarding Kosianenko. First of all, she's fat. Even if she's the better setter... her athleticism is just not complimentary with Russia's defensive ability. Needs a lot of tracking and running for the ball to get to the spot before it hits the ground. And she's predictable... Still can't believe they are forcing Kosianenko to be hated by all the russian fans. You are really a massive fan of Pankova, aren't you? But ...

He's angry when he's right, he's angry when he's wrong, he thinks his iPad rules the world. I'm supporting Turkey here but he is making it hard as always

The ball was down, but I can't help but laugh whenever Guidetti throws one of his hissy fits which seems to be in every match these days

European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

Quoted from "Harrison" In Europe there are not all around OH's, this is the biggest problem.I really miss Sokolova, Del Core, Piccinini Gozde or Rabadzhieva are probably the closest, but I do agree with you

European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

Quoted from "Sidney" I watched part of Serbia x Netherlands and now I'm watching Russia x Turkey and I find the level of the matches very awful... I agree that the level of the competition this year does not look very good and none of the teams are playing that great. Hopefully they will improve by the QF stage...

Well done Czechia Even though many players are still the same from the bronze winning team in 2013, Belgium look a mess in 2017. I guess that shows how important Frauke was to the team

European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

Quoted from "Meatballs" Van de vyver Don't know what went wrong in her development but her creativity is terrible compared to 3-4 years ago. It's a really dissapointing era for European volleyball considering the quality of setters. Even the best teams like Italy, Russia, Netherlands, Serbia have so so setters. To me Naz is probably the best setter of this tournament on paper. Too bad Malinov is injured and Antonijevic had to be cut. Turkey actually has the two best setters at this tournament I...

2017 European Championship - Prediction Game

I have to go away next week for my university course and I'm not sure how much internet access I will have. That means I might not be able to defend my ECH predication game gold from 2015 . More importantly it means I won't get to watch much of this tournament

Serbian NT 2017

I agree Malagurski didn't deliver, but at least she has in the past and I believe she still can judging by her quite impressive performance last season. When has Bjelica ever looked like she can play at an elite level?

Serbian NT 2017

If I was Malagurski I'd be furious. There's no way Bjelica deserves that spot ahead of her. The setter situation is very unfortunate. Mirkovic and injured Zivkovic is not quite the same level as Antonijevic and Ognjenovic . Rasic is obviously a brilliant player but Serbia are lucky to have such great MBs that they can cover for her OK, still I hope she is back near to full fitness by the time the QFs start. Mihajlovic's slight injury and poor form is a big concern IMO. With the usual reception d...

Comparison of Strength of European Leagues

It's hard to say for sure before the start of the season because some teams that have great players might have bad chemistry and some teams that have good but not great players might have great chemistry and be better than we think. Turkey has to be #1 IMO because Vakif and Vitra have ridiculously strong rosters and we know FB and GS can compete with them as well. A lot of the other "weaker" teams look stronger this season as well. Italy for me is stronger than Russia. In Russia there is Dinamo ...
