2018 FIVB World Championship - Japan

Quoted from "JoanaBG" But the 2nd round pool composition is as follows: 1st A 2nd A 1st B 2nd B 3rd C 4th C 3rd D 4th D And vice versa. It means playing 6 more matches against the opponents you haven't met in the first round. And it's too much. Oh ok, they won`t do like in 2014 having only Pool A crossing with D and B with C. This formula SUCKS... FIVB has no clue in how to make a tournament exciting. If the World Cup had this same formula it would not be as popular as it is for sure, FIVB shou...

2018 FIVB World Championship - Japan

Quoted from "Kk15" Wait, in the second round there will be two pools of eight teams? Not 4 pools of 4? So, the first 3 for each pool will pass? I think it is the same formula from 2014. In the 2nd round with 2 pools of 8, each team will only play 4 games, they will only play against the 4 teams they did not face in the first round. In 2014 they had BRA,SRB,BUL,TUR,RUS,USA,NED,KAZ in the same group in the 2nd round. But for example Brazil only played against RUS,USA,NED and KAZ. And they carry p...

Poland - Liga Siatkówki Kobiet 2017/18

The level of this game was not the best, but still was much better than what we saw in Italy this weekend expect for 2 games, in Italy there were a lot of 3-0 with 25/12 - 25/14 scores. Maja Savic was awesome - 19 points - 9/15 60% and 10 blocks

Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2017/2018

I see that Ivana Vanjak had a great game, hopefully she can keep improving and she could be useful for the NT in the future.

Serbian NT 2017

Quoted from "serdar" What happened to Sara Klisura? She was supposed to be a good prospect when she was playing in junior NT and then she just disappeared I always wanted to ask that as well, what about Sara Kilsura? At least until last season she was playing in Romenia, but I have never seen her playing before and I checked wiki and she played in Italy in her first pro season? So I wonder what happened from there. Serbia is such a small country with not a lot of options of players, they can`t ...

Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

The first round was a huge disappointment with only 2 good games (Busto vs Novara and Fireze vs Monza). And the teams that won is not even like they played well, some other teams simply showed some awful performances, they all seamed just not to be ready to play. It is early on but I already see a huge gap from Novara/Conegliano to the rest.

Poland - Liga Siatkówki Kobiet 2017/18

Quoted from "Ttom" Chemik won 3:0, in 2 first sets with problems, but playing withou Veljkovic, Grothues and with Izka as setter you meant to say WITHOUT Veljkovic and Grothues right?? I checked the stats and they did not play. Also I was thinking Mirkovic was gonna be the starting setter.

When is Malinov gonna be ready to play again? Bergamo is such a mess without her. There`s a very promising young OPP Italian in Legano, Camila Mingard, she`s 20 and 1.86cm. She was also scoring over 20 points in friendly games.

Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

Quoted from "beri" I actually mean't thy have good subs for anyone except Zhu (and Sloetjes). How does one find a good sub for Zhu anyway? She is considered to be the best current player worldwide. I don't agree about Tuğba, I feel like she will start replacing Gözde very soon. If it is true Gozde is retiring after this season, Guidetti should let Tugba play in her place and use Godze as a "mentor".

Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

Quoted from "beri" Quoted from "Insider" Quoted from "rbdfabio" Zhu said she wants to win every single trophy this time and I really don`t doubt her. As long as they stay healthy. Vakifbank doesn't have many subs. Am I missing something here, Kelsey Robinson, Zehra Güneş, Tuğba Şenoğlu. And imo some of these subs are/will become better then the main roster. I think VakifBank this season has a very elite bench. I just hope they won't be wasted in the bench... They have a good bench, but no one c...
