Brazilian League 2017/2018

Barueri is the team to beat. Especially with the arrival of Thaisa and Jaque. Hate him or love him, you can't deny Coach Ze is an amazing coach. It is going to be the classic Coach Ze VS Coach Rezende all over again.

I was watching the Pinheiros VS Barueri and I was shookt because I thought Mari and Coach Ze made up and she is now playing with Barueri. It turned out that it was Edinara. That girl truly is the second coming of Mari. The way she approach and hit the ball is truly reminiscing of the glorious days of Mari.

Any video for Sesc RJ? Really curious to see how this "new" team perform, especially without Gabi and Carol.

Men's World Grand Champions Cup 2017

What a game from BRA. They gave it all to secure that 3 points knowing that IRI was playing with full of surprises. And that defeat against ITA really put them into their places. IRI fought a good fight on the 2nd set but when BRA got into their rhythm on the 3rd set, there is nothing they can do. It seems like BRA is once again on the favorite list to win gold. It all depends on the match against USA.

Men's World Grand Champions Cup 2017

Quoted from "Kk15" Quoted from "akitoakie" so far Brazil with 4 points, Italy with 2, and USA and Iran with 3. Brazil only needs to beat USA and Iran to grab the gold. Italy has 3 points and Iran 2 (but a match less), actually. It ended 3-2 for Iran yesterday. And I was doing the math thinking you were wrong, then I realized you were taking for granted that Brazil will beat Japan (and i guess that you were thinking of 3 points victory...) Anyway, that for the moment is the Italian peak of the s...

Brazil is destroying Italy here in the first set. Since when does Bruno serve this tough? Poor Italy. They look pretty disjointed right now.

Brazilian NT 2017

Quoted from "Mkmalaluan" My top 13 at the moment: Mb : thaissa is still no. 1 but we will check her in the turkish league should she continue becoming a monster or her level declining.., bia no question!! carol very good in blocking but needs to be more consistent.. more matches for her.. i wanna see her as a starting 6 in the game vs italy maybe in the near future and also in netherlands so i can decide her agility precision and her stand in the tight race of mb in tokyo!!! Opposite: tandara b...

Women's World Grand Champions Cup 2017

Judging from Brazil's current performance, I think they will once again be the contender for gold in Tokyo. This new team managed to drag the Olympic gold medalists team to 5th set, and gave a convincing fight. It is interesting to see how they will develop even more in the future. Gabi is a very welcomed addition to this team as she is the most stable passer and has crazy back-court defensive skills. Sort of like Jaque.

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" Gabi Guimaraes should be there. No reason to leave out Brazil's most stable receiver. Rosamaria is 65 percent yes /35 percent out as she can play opposite hitter unless someone other than her improves. oh yeah i forgot about her. notice that when she came back, brazil's passing has become a lot more stable and back court defense also got better.

Women's World Grand Champions Cup 2017

Even though they lost, but somehow this is my favorite Brazil's performance so far (for this new generation). They fought hard. I was expecting a 3-0 or 3-1 from China, but Brazil managed to drag it to the fifth set. More and more, Roberta has secured her place as the starting setter. She is getting more comfortable with the players and her own self on court. Dani Lins can say goodbye to her starting spot as the NT setter unless she miraculously step up her game during Superliga season. And I mu...

Women's World Grand Champions Cup 2017

Quoted from "sitenoise" Quoted from "akitoakie" And for Japan, I like that tall OH. And it is good to see Yuri Ishii back on court. Japan as for now has a very good bunch of OH - Koga, Ishii, the tall OH, Nabeya, and the short one. I assume you mean Uchesito as the short one. I'm really eating crow with her. Never liked her, still don't, but damn she's playing well. Jumps high, hits hard, has a number of ways to softly tap the ball to open floor instead of cracking it every time. Not to mention...

Women's World Grand Champions Cup 2017

Quoted from "sitenoise" Watching the JPN v KOR game. These Asian games are more fun to watch, for me. It may not actually be true but it seems like the rallies are longer and the digs are better, at least the quantity of quality digs. And the sportsmanship and attitude are more attractive. I like this Korean group over the recent one. I like the setter better, the libero, I'm happy to see that one twin girl #7 back, she's hitting well. And, more pleasant for me, that one player with the LeBron ...

an Quoted from "rbdfabio" Quoted from "sitenoise" I was hoping for a Kosheleva fix. She's not starting but I assume we'll see her. She cracks me up the way she cracks up at things. Hairdo #2 I could swear played libero in the WGP? Clayton Lucas is not commentating. Damn. I'm liking Brazil more and more. I like #20 Ana Beatriz Correa but don't think I've you fans talk about her much. Maybe she's mentioned by a nickname I don't know. And Gabi's back! I remember her. Speaking of cracking up, someon...

2017 AVC Senior Women's Championship (Philippines/Manila, Aug 9-17, 2017)

Then all the other countries can settle to fight for silver and bronze. This team is on another level when it comes to South East Asia women's volleyball. I wish Thailand will beat down Philippines once again simply because those Pinoy fantards are extremely annoying.

just wondering if this is the same THA team that is going to play in the Kuala Lumpur SEA Games? I know PHI will definitely send the same roster.
