Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

As some massive excitement are slowly approaching, I think it's fun to predict. I think Novara are once again the favorite to win the league, I wouldn't say it if they stayed with Bonifacio but since Gibbemeyer is there, they are better balanced. Egonu is obviously the biggest key, from time to time she collapses herself and by that time her team also falls down (A typical behavior on the court of young girls), otherwise strong enough to rule the league. Piccinini-Plak-Enright trio looks solid, ...

Quoted from "Matthias" Again Achilles tendon?? Too bad I couldn't understand any Russian and by far there's no info about her injury, but from what I saw, Sasha was holding her ankles before getting taken out of the field, so it's probably Achilles tendon again So unfair, she just got back from a heartbreaking season-out 2016-2017.

Russia - Superliga 2017/18

Pasynkova would have won the unluckiest player award if it ever existed, after the injury she got in the first game of last season, unfortunately the same thing happened yesterday to her I would be extremely surprised if she ever comes back to the court. Heartbreaking, I think she's the only player who continuously got injured in the first game of the season. Once is painful enough, but twice...

Yeah, we could become pretty solid if those girls get to play together, I agree aside from Lazic sisters. They're good for Swedish standard, but nothing more. I wish Anna were a bit taller, at least 1,85cm so that she'd have been more competitive as OH, she's pretty good now tho, but never on the same level as her younger sister obviously. I also like Filippa Hansson, she's also fun to watch and has a potential to be better.

She's the only splendid player from such a volleyball wasteland which means our NT will probably never shine despite having her, but watching her development must be so fun and worthy, I actually think she's a lot better than most European OPPs in particular those who are in her age. I'm also very happy that she chose to play in Italy, besides with a great setter like Carlini and obviously Parisi, her coach needs no more explanation in terms of training young players.

Poland - Liga Siatkówki Kobiet 2017/18

No Matthias, It's Maret who's doomed to get offended, not him. Besides, she wasn't terribly bad at attack either during the summer, in many matches she actually was leading as team's main attacker especially when Lon was out of shape. Buša better than Balkestein, gosh, I'll take that as a joke

Yes, Scandicci has made very wise transfers through the summer, transferring Haak and Carlini who are supposed to be good players but not really costly for club policy. I hope Bella will rule the Italian league somehow

As expected Buijs and Mihajlovic as best OHs, besides that I see Valeria Mammadova hanging there so it probably means she gets the best libero award.

I hope one of Knip or Blagojevic will get the best libero award and honestly I don't see anybody else, perhaps V.Mammadova, but I prefer those two.

Jole is like "crap, just give me damn ball I will make it" Serbian reception is so far really stable and if Zivkovic mixes a bit of middle attacks, dutch blockers most likely will be lost, but she doesn't even try. Well maybe not necessary since she has Boskovic...
