2018 FIVB World Championship - Japan

crazy... how is ARG ranked higher than THA, BUL, AZE, PUR, TUR, GER????? that's why the pools are so unbalanced, the rankings are stupid.

2018 FIVB World Championship - Japan

it seems DOM, PUR, MEX and TRI have now all qualified to the WCh next year. they are all 2-0 in their pools and cannot be surpassed by the other teams. in s. america, it seems ARG has clinched its slot as well. congrats, corrupt dumb fivb. next year we'll have such wonderful powers as MEX, TRI and CAN in the WCh, but not POL, BEL, CZE, UKR, or even COL, which is a stronger team than those 3.

Serbian NT 2017

apparently you don't really fit your name. it's sad BIH is split between these separate "territories", that's what's sad.

European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

Quoted from "ossubtus" if they were not at home, they would not finish 4th. let's see how they do in the WCh next year. i doubt they'll be in the top 10. i'd even say, even in europe, AZE is probably # 9 or 10 team, or lower, right now...

2018 FIVB World Championship - Japan

i didn't realize it but one of the qual. tournaments for NORCECA already happened and CAN and CUB have qualified to the WCh. big question mark as to the other tournament since PUR will probably not contest it due to the devastation to the island. so now USA, CAN and CUB are qualified. the last 4 spots will probably go to MEX, TRI, DOM and ???? it'll be a joke. thanks, corrupt FIVB.

Men's World Championship 2018

horrible what has happened to PUR and the caribbean islands. but what a joke FIVB is to give NORCECA 5 spots at the WCh... what a total joke. so now USA, CAN and DOM are qualified. the remaining 2 spots will probably go to MEX and CUB since PUR will probably not even contest.

European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

i don't know, nati, i have no idea what the connection is between the AZE coach and TUR federation, but i watched the two matches of AZE (semi and 3rd place match), and AZE is really not that impressive other than rahimova's cannon. samadova could not kill the ball so she was substituted by bayramova, who came in and had several kills. she's not a great player but she kept AZE alive for a while against the NED. i saw many matches of AZE in the 2014 WCh and while they have improved somewhat, they...

if you people think zivkovic is a boring setter, you should see the AZE setter... she can only set one player... and AZE federation spent all that money buying foreign players and they can't afford a better coach?

European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

just finished watching the first set. morrison has a horrible track record in challenges... i was asking who the british announcer is. he has an annoying voice, but he's not bad. i mean, even paul sunderland, the last times i heard him years ago, was starting to sound incoherent and a bit bizarre. compared to the horrible announcers FIVB had in the past (remember the WOQ last time? it was HORRIBLE!!!! you have to mute those matches on YT). he totally mangled the SRB names though, swallowing whol...

European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

Quoted from "beri" Considering how much NED struggled with AZE and TUR crushes them while SRB crushed TUR. I can't help but think SRB will kill NED and it will be a super boring FINAL. that really means nothing.

European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

i only caught match in middle of 3rd set. in the last set, rahimova with 0 kills. why didn't AZE coach started semi match with bayramova, she certainly did better than samadova or n. mammadova at crucial moments. i still think AZE is not a balanced team. very weak passing and defense, they depend solely on the two twin towers, and even more on polina. n. mammadova is weak in passing and not a big killer either in spite of her height. i thought also that TUR might be in the final (and get silver)...

some days, you are the hunter and some days, you're the hunted. today TUR felt what RUS felt yesterday... what goes around comes around, that's how the world turns. maybe the TUR team couldn't focus after that crazy victory over RUS yesterday, or maybe, SRB was just too good for them. who knows? it'll be interesting what happens tomorrow. unfort. i might not watch them live. good luck to all the combatants!
