European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

Quoted from "manlung222" So germany finished at least 6th as they scored more points than Italy and Belarus? I don't think so. Germany will probably finish 8th. What is counting now is group-phase and 1/4 match. Italy 8 pts, Belarus 5 pts., Germany 4 pts.

Polish NT 2017

Quoted from "serdar" Why are you guys complaining about libero? She made crazy digs against Turkey. I think she is one of the best players in the current Polish roster. I think Smarzek should be kept as Opp. She could make a difference for this team. Having such a dominant Opp and good MBs, Poland still can be successful with those short OHs. On the other hand, if you will force Smarzek to play as OH, she will be just another mediocre player Because in defence it was Krzos and not Witkowska. Wi...

Polish NT 2017

Quoted from "Mimek" I dont think that Murek is ready for that level, but of course she is our the biggest talent. I think that it is good that she is there, because she has to start playing in senior NT someday.

Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

Quoted from "serdar" You are right, even Alajbeg will be there By the way, Marina Tumas will also play in Karayolları. They are not gonna be a bad team, she was always the Opp player of one of the promoting team from 1st league. OK, thanks. I remember her from some years ago. She played in Fenerbahce I think. Is there any page where there are or will be squads and statistics from 1st league?

Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

Quoted from "serdar" Come on! She does not have the level to play in any team in VVSL! 1st league is also not that bad, there will be many foreigners playing there After one year without actually playing probably she is not on the level she used to be, but hey... if Elżbieta Skowronska played two seasons there and wasn't that bad then Grejman should be enough too Not too mention some other names that passed by VVSL and will play next season too.

Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

Mystery solved. As I thought she will play in 1st League - Karayollari. It seems that love is more important than her own career. She was supposed to be solution on OH for NT but we can forget her now.

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Quoted from "Matthias" Quoted from "bobaas" Quoted from "Matthias" Kakolewska is such a dominant force at the net! Unfortunately only when she gets good set which suits her well. If not she can't kill a ball. Well that's a middle blocker's destiny. And I was refering also to her blocking skills. Yeah, but there is plenty of MB which can minimize set mistake

I didn't follow japanese league so much, but isn't it Nakada's style to do it that way? It is very strange, but we don't know how they divided their roles. Maybe she is this type, which prefers do not talk to players during the match for whatever reasons, lol.

Brazilian NT 2017

Quoted from "saishuu" Natália said in an interview after the game that the Polish squad only arrived in Brazil yesterday late at night, so that probably had some effect on their performance. The next game on Thursday shall be better. It is true but I wouldn't expect anything special. At this moment all of ours OH are injured or not interested in NT and we are without any (more or less) all-around player on this position. Also "our" coach (who by the way before the match showed terrible level of...

Polish NT 2017

Quoted from "Phil" Brzoska will be 4th OH. If I remember correctly, Twardowska is injured. Twardowska recovered after ankle injury at the beginning of June and joined the camp in Szczyrk, where some girls were preparing for WGP. I don't know what was the point of that if as we can see none of them made a cut to 14 players roster. I don't know what Nawrocki want to achieve with taking for example Brzóska, which is not and won't be NT material.

Montreux Volley Masters 2017 - 6-11.06.2017

Poles started to play so so when Germany finished to play. I mean, even the first squad of Germany didn't play anything special, but it was enough to beat Poland easily, because they took care to provide the ball on the other side and gave Poland opportunity to make error or try to work in block/defence to have another chance. And Poland did what they wanted, comitted 21 errors in 2 sets. And then Germany blocked well in first two sets and even playing very bad in attack didn't have problems to ...

Montreux Volley Masters 2017 - 6-11.06.2017

Quoted from "Matthias" German team doesn't have to do much yet, Poland with 12 errors handing over the 1st set easily, of course it had to end with a serve error. What I really like about Germany is that the reason for success lies in good coaching and preparation, not in individual talent. You can see how well the players are positioned in defense, how many balls they touch in block etc., so Felix seems to be doing a very good job You are totally right. In Poland it is all about individual act...

2018 FIVB World Championship - Japan

Quoted from "WZP" Quoted from "Polish96" It is a good thing we are playing against cyprus tonight - any other team, maybe outside Iceland would totally destroy us Unfortunately it is true.. take a look at our men's team. They played brilliant against good Iran thanks to very good training. And girls...? Do they train at all? These stupid balls which falls on our side give sad picture. The only chance that we will will against Serbia is well performance of Tomsia and Medrzyk. Plesnierowicz with ...
