Men's World Championship 2018

Egypt and Tunisia have qualified to the 2018 WCH by being the finalists of the African volleyball championship. The last spot available will be given to the winner of the bronze medal match, Cameroon vs Algeria.

2018 FIVB World Championship - Japan

Blame CEV rather than FIVB for not protecting their own teams and interest against this ridiculous farce of a qualification process And while we're there, organizing tournaments in countries where volleyball matches attract more than 50 spectators (Georgia), relatives of the players included

2018 New Volleyball League

I'm more annoyed at the fact that, whether you liked it or not, WL and WGP were brands established decades ago and with some kind of global appeal in the tiny market of worldwide volleyball. Now they're starting from scratch with the most ridiculous name imaginable and the formula STILL doesn't work.

Men's World Championship 2018

Quoted from "serdar" The whole formula is just to be sure that hosts can reach to semis The possibility of getting surprise results is the part that makes WCh interesting, that's why they should have stick to Quarterfinals and even better, to final 16 Do I remember correctly that it was (again) a change made to help Japan go all the way to the semis? Not to say that other countries didn't benefit from it... but it changes the result of the competition, and not always the best team wins. Germany...

Men's World Championship 2018

Quoted from "rbdfabio" I hate this formula, absolutely BORING....phase after phase after another phase. This does not attract fans. It should be just like Soccer World Cup and the youth tournaments, with Round of 16. This makes it very exciting even if you have a Brazil vs Korea game. And teams carrying points from the previous rounds makes it even worst, the teams ranked in #3 and #4 already starts the 2nd rounds with basically no "chances" in qualifying once they already have less points. And...

European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

Serbia is so delightfully superior in everything, it's like watching another sport being played. I don't see how they could lose the gold medal.

European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

I'm a little bit surprised that Turkey managed to beat Russia, but it was obvious from the very first match that this Russian team was not going to win anything for a long time. The time when they could win gold medals just by setting the ball high to the nearest skyscraper is now over.

European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

I watched again the match (amazing the amount of stuff you can notice) and here's a few considerations: -first of all, congratulations to the Netherlands for playing a perfect match -Malinov missing was a gigantic black hole on court, it's obvious there was a pretty big synch problem between our setter everyone else, especially the MBs (for the few times the reception was decent enough to actually be able to use them), but I cannot blame the poor girl as she did the best she could -I have to tak...

European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

Quoted from "kaomanyu" This is my first time to watch ECH, but I have to say the level is a little bit lower than my expectation. Is this because 2017 is the first year after Olympic and many teams are testing their new players? Or it is just the normal level of ECH? Most of the teams play slow volleyball, especially when the receiving is not good, the setters tend to set the ball to position 2 and all other players count on their opposite to put the ball down. Of course, this also happens to o...

I know the match basically ended in the 2nd set but this is a really worrying performance if we are going to face Serbia/Netherlands next. Anyway the overall level of the whole ECH is just as bad as the men's tournament.
