Poland - Liga Siatkówki Kobiet 2017/18

Quoted from "Phil" Quoted from "7UP" But Maret was present on all these matches Chemik played till now, she was just sitting outside with the staff, and also she was in match roster in the last match as well. Are you sure she was at the last game? She's not listed here: http://pls-web.dataproject.com/Livescore_Adv.aspx?ID=27288 so I think she wasn't in match roster. [Don't look at stats because sometimes there are 15 or 16 players and this is not allowed. I think livescore is more reliable sour...

Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

Quoted from "serdar" It is unfair that Poland has two high quality setters while most European teams lack even one (except SRB and ITA) Novara seems intimidating with two big hitters but with all the respect to Piccinini, this 2 players receiving line can not resist against top server teams. Just have a look how Eda single-handedly killed GS's reception line in last match. Let's not forget both Vakıfbank and GS are also very good serving teams. To me, Novara's system is so delicate that in the ...

Poland - Liga Siatkówki Kobiet 2017/18

Quoted from "Wojtek13" What a poor level of match Dabrowa-Muszyna... So many errors from both sides. Lets explain that its only begining of LSK and later level will be much better Actually I think these 2 teams will play a lot of matches like this... They have so weird rosters with lot of shaky players like Wojcik and Polak plus the foreigners. However I hope Muszyna will improve, they still have Radenkovic, Savic, Smieszek and Bociek who should be quite valuable starters... All depends on rece...

2018 FIVB World Championship - Japan

Quoted from "ossubtus" i didn't realize it but one of the qual. tournaments for NORCECA already happened and CAN and CUB have qualified to the WCh. big question mark as to the other tournament since PUR will probably not contest it due to the devastation to the island. so now USA, CAN and CUB are qualified. the last 4 spots will probably go to MEX, TRI, DOM and ???? it'll be a joke. thanks, corrupt FIVB. Sorry but this tournament is a nonsense. Taking into account that in TOP10 teams of the wor...

Men's World Championship 2018

True, pool after pool after pool, OMG. FIVB should really reorganise or something cause basically if there is room to do anything stupid they always do. Bunch of stupid ideas as always.

Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2017/2018

Quoted from "StefanS" Due to an article of tag24 the budget of Dresdner SC for this season is at least 1.56 and shall be finally as high as 1.65 million Euro. Knowing this, it is really hard to comprehend, why they didn't hire especially better outside hitters (this is the value they had/aimed for two years ago and higher than last season). If Stuttgart had this much of money available, we would construct a roster to easily beat both Schwerin and Dresden in the championship... Actually this is ...

European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

I guess what happened to Azeri girls is the same that happened to Poland in ECH 2007 when they were clear favourites and they were playing amazing but in the semis they lost to Serbia 0-3 after trashing Serbia in group phase 3-0. And in 3rd place match against Russia they were just absent on the court and probably they couldn't believe what happened day before. They just lost this match 0-3 without any fight. I don't think Azerbeijan was favourite to win gold or sth but they had a chance to be i...

Polish NT 2017

You know guys just another crazy thing is that Krzos is supposed to be better receiver and Witkowska better digger. But the funny thing is they are playing in NT in the opposite way and even more, Krzos is outplaying Witkowska in defence ..

Polish NT 2017

The only thing that Nawrocki has in his defence is that many players got injured and were off the roster for ECH. Other than that he is just lost as a child: 1. He wants Smarzek to play as OH. So he made her change the position and now he changed his mind. So she is in Chemik where she will sit on a bench whole season and how is she supposed to play good in WGP? This is just crazy. What is more, Zaroslinska and Tomsia can be both out also next season so we will have just Bociek left. And this se...

European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

Quoted from "saishuu" Geez, Polish OHs are absolutely awful. I wish we could at least see Medrzyk and Mucha in action. Is there any other good OH that wasn't called by Nawrocki? The problem is that again we have completely different roster than before in WGP. We used Smarzek as OH and now she is back to OPP, but how can it work if we change it like twice in a year???

European Championship 2017 Azerbaijan&Georgia

Quoted from "Loyd" Polish roster: Setters: Wołosz, Pleśnierowicz Opps: Bociek, Smarzek MBs: Efimienko, Tokarska, Kąkolewska OHs: Polak, Grajber, Murek, Twardowska, Brzóska Libero: Krzos, Witkowska Poland again with their like 2nd team. Probably apart from EG 2015 & Olympics Q in 2016 we cannot gather a reliable team with its best players since 2012 No Skorupa, Tomsia, Mucha, Medrzyk, Polanska, Ptak and ZAroslinska

Polish NT 2017

Ok, latest update... Berenika Tomsia, who according to Nawrocki, won't participate in ECH due to health problems, has played in friendly game of her club and is training as usual Basing on the statement of the club, only one player from their roster is injured and this is not Tomsia.... So now the list of players who are not in NT due to some unknown 'problems' is Mucha, Ptak, Polanska, Tomsia and also Zaroslinska. Congratulations Jacek

Polish NT 2017

Polish NT- BKS Bielsko Biala 2:2 in a friendly game. Funny thing that Emilia Mucha played for Bielsko and at the same time she is not NT cause she is injured according to Jacek Nawrocki And what is not funny, Poland had troubles with team which has just started their trainings and they have never played with setter Plesniorowicz beause she is with NT When will this MESS end?

CEV Women’s European Championship 2019 - hosts Turkey, Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic

Quoted from "Angel" On the other hand, top teams won't have to play qualification phase, and I think it's a good deal for them, no matter if they have to play 1 or 2 "easy" games in phase of groups. And, there're 47 federations in Europe (yes, I know more than the half with a very low level) but there's not other confederation in the world with this quantity of teams, so 24 could help to improve the level of these "not top teams". And, of course, with more countries playing, probably more atten...

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Quoted from "USAvolleyfan" I'm torn on two sides.. On the one hand I think this has been a relatively good Grand Prix for the USA since there are a lot of new faces, they try to get used to this new system, their setter is now a starter, etc.. On the other hand this really is not a B/C team.. They indeed miss their starting MBs and OHs, and their libero retired, but Dixon and Gibby are not that much worse than Akinradewo/Adams.. In favt both Dixon and Gibby have had a lot of playing time in the...

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Quoted from "Rffno" I am the silent reader for many years. But today i must say, i truly disappointed with usa. And for me lloyd is a incredible setter. TBH USA is playing almost 2nd/3rd roster and still qualifies to the finals. It's not that bad. Still without Hodge, Robinson, Hill & Larson, Akinradewo. As for OPP, this is continous problem for USA since removing Hooker. For this girls (Kingdon, Hackley and rest) it's first experience as starters so don't you expect too much?

Women's World Grand Prix 2017

Quoted from "vabo" Ok, but Polish Federation is one of the richest in the world. We always organize tournaments in WGP and WL. I think next year will be more supporters due to better opponents. There were also rumors that Poland wanted to host WGP finals and next Womens WCH. There was rumour that Poland was already given the WGP finals granted they will advance to Division 1. But still just a rumour About WCH, I also heard that Poland is one of the participants for organization.
