Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

Quoted from "SHAME" Quoted from "Matthias" All matches of the weekend were decided in tie-break There's no league like Italy But most of them were rather weak. Please, Matthias: I feel embarassed by Serie A1... Well, Matthias coomment isn't necessary a compliment @crovolley It could be understandable that now the opponents know her better and so she may have worst % than before, but I still think it's impressive how few mistakes she committed since the beginning of the season...

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Some specifics with the stats: Trento - Vettori 4 spike, 1 block, 1 error, 50%. 9 serves, 2 aces and 2 errors. I was close but I forgot a block (but now I remembered it, it was from 2 during the first part of the tie break, before they changed court - while the point from 4 was after the change) and a serve error. - Teppan 55%, 1 error, 2 blocked; 3 blocks; but 5 serve errors with 0 aces. - Lanza 4 errors, 2 blocked, 31%. He deserved the bench, probably even earlier. - Zingel 58% in attack (7/12...

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

I must say Osmany 'awards' shells are really nice, I love the idea of the team photos near by! And of course he did that to remind someone (wonder who ) how much he did won Speaking about Trento, I missed few parts of the match but I must say that if looking at the result as a Trento fan you may think 'we lost a point', considering how the match was going the tie break was quite fair, and Vibo fought quite well to reach it. Still, we could have close it 3-1 with a better end of the fourth set......

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "scarpetta" what makes me laugh so much is Trentino’s teenage fans acting like moral judges I swear it's not me (but where is it happening?) Anyway, Juantorena is also the one that last year after the defeat in CL commented that Perugia bought everything... not very nice, to be honest. I don't stand insults (one thing is to criticize, another is to insult), but I can understand why Perugia fans aren't in love with him [and of course he dared offending they hero ] And I don't know if...

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "scarpetta" Wow I mean I’m extremely disappointed.Never expect such stupidity from Juantorena. This is absolutely classless. He wasted all his credit in my eyes. Why ? Why? I wonder the provocation behind this story . I've never been a huge fan overall (I adore him as a player but there are certain little things outside court and sometimes in is attitude on court I don't appreciate), but I'm disappointed anyway... How such a good player like him feel the need to do a statement like t...

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "scarpetta" I think Berger-Russell change was the turning point of the match .Medei should have started with Kovar in the third set ,what was he thinking? Atanasijevic was the ultimate hero but I think Zaytsev was also the ‘hidden’hero .He has done a great job with reception I agree that the subs worked well, even if Berger attacked with 11% It did work. On the other hand I'm in love with Kovar but he didn't seem that ok when he was used, I'm afraid... but what the hell was that sub...

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "scarpetta" Grebennikov should have been substituted already. He was aced how many times? 6 ?7? 6, 42% positive 28% perfect. 36 total Juantorena 4, 48% 33%, 21 total Ps Edit while I was writing: I recalled that during the ECh for CEV the errors in reception aren't only the direct ace, in fact I checked and Lube did 13 errors, but Perugia 11 aces. May be it counts the ball arrived directly on the other side? Sorry I hand't reload the page, I had missed the previous post when I wrote ...

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" Quoted from "scarpetta" Grebennikov should have been substituted already. He was aced how many times? 6 ?7? He wasn't being aced. He's struggling to receive. He was aced at least twice plus one ball in the other court during the tie break. Plus at least to other aces during the match. Still, again I guess even Grebennikov is 'allowed' to suffer Zaytsev or Atanasjievic serves, who made 'noble' victims all over the world Like Shoji for example, also in more import...

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "scarpetta" Grebennikov should have been substituted already. He was aced how many times? 6 ?7? I agree that now he's not at his best, but what makes you think that Marchisio could keep up better than him (or Juantorena in other moments) with Ata and Zaytsev serves, among the most powerful in the world?

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "Kk15" Quoted from "scarpetta" Is this the worst Grebennikov ever? I'm actually liking him quite a lot, at least in defense... but I missed part of the set for wifi problems, so who knows and in fact this set he missed two probably doable (for him) defense on Ata's spike from 2/1 to 5 I guess because his body was orientated outside court. they were very hard spikes though, to be honest. Quoted from "scarpetta" Laola announcer is pro-Perugia you can here him well? I'm watching mute, ...

Lube 20th point of the second set was priceless! Even if for a second I thought it would have been the first ball put down by Zaytsev in a quite long time.. the set begun with a promising 6-2 for Lube with Ata on fire on serve (3 aces), but from the second part of the set Lube flayed away... and this time Perugia didn't keep up.

it's only me or the audio is terrible? I found an italian radio that airs it but it's way earlier (or better, laola is late) and works only live anyway, what a risk by Lube! they where like 5 points ahed in the second part of the set (from 13-13 to 16-13, and the increased it) and then Perugia came back (18-22 or less to 21-22, then 21-23, and again 23-23) and it ended 30-28 for Lube

CEV Champions League 2018

I forgot to say: I'm glad there are line-referee which we don't have any more in Italy; I was totally annoyed when I realized CEV still uses technical time out (c'mooon!), and I was surprised to see FIVB referee instead of CEV's.
