Men's World Championship 2018

Quoted from "rbdfabio" We can`t dismiss a team results based on the group or teams they played against. In this case we would say Argentina only reached the Q in the OG because they played against Cuba, Iran and whichever other African Team was in that group that I can`t even remember, not to mention a completely lost Polish team, while Canada playing in the Group of death against the GOLD, Silver and Bronze medalist, managed to finish 2nd place in the group. I doubt Argentina would have make o...

Men's World Championship 2018

Quoted from "rbdfabio" Quoted from "LDvolley" Group C is tough indeed but B? Since when is Canada considered a super power? because they did well in a world league in which half of the teams didn't play with their best squads? they have little chance to actually challenge Brazil or France. Since the day they finished 7th at the 2014 WCH ( while ARG only finished at 11th) and since the day they finished 5th at the 2016 OG. I`m just not sure if half of the teams played with their best squads in t...

Italy will have to be very careful with that group... 4 of the 5 opponents have potential to upset if they are in a bad day.

Men's World Championship 2018

The final south american qualifier started already between Argentina, Chile and Venezuela. in the first game ARG 3-1 CHI. Then yesterday there was upset and Chile defeated Venezuela 3-0! Venezuela is already out with this result. In the final match ARG-VEN, ARG will qualify just by winning 2 sets. If VEN wins 3-0 or 3-1, then CHI qualifies.

FIVB U23 World Championship - 2017 | Egypt

I think it's the first FIVB title for Argentina (of ANY kind). It was about time.

FIVB U23 World Championship - 2017 | Egypt

I think every team is missing a couple players from this age group, Argentina too doesn't have the two main OHs Bruno Lima and Nicolas Lazo.

FIVB Women's U18 World Championship - Argentina

There was stream today for the group A games on this channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/FEVATV/videos However, it's only one camera with no comments and no score... I know, not very exciting to follow the weakest group, but it's better than nothing.

Men's World Championship 2018

Argentina lost to Venezuela.... I can't believe what I saw... one of the worst ever matches I've seen from an Argentina NT. Velasco understimated the opponent by starting with scrubs like Darraidou and Flores... Thanks god for FIVB silly rules we have a chance to set this straight in two weeks.

Quoted from "ossubtus" AUS played without edgar, anyone know what's up with him? He took a brake from the NT for this year.

Men's World Championship 2018

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" That would be a bad idea if either Brazil or Argentina gets upset in the pool phase, they will have to meet in the semifinals then one of them is going to play in the bronze medal match and will never qualify to the world championship. It wouldn't be bad if thet have 3 slots but South America only has 2. Well, just make the tournament a round-robin then. Anyway, Brazil or Argentina can't possibly lose to the other teams. Not even Venezuela is competitive anymore...

Men's World Championship 2018

I have a question related to the stupid qualification system we have in CSV: the south american championship will be hosted in Chile and it will qualify 1 team for WCh, then few weeks later there will be qualification tournament to decide the other quota in Argentina. My question is, what happens if Argentina wins the first quota, will the second tournament still be held in Argentina but without the host nation? all this stupidity could be avoided if south american championship just gave 2 spots...

2017 FIVB U21 World Championship | Czech Republic

Quoted from "saishuu" So... in theory the final is supposed to be between Russia and Poland, right? Really surprised with Argentina, they even lost to Canada today, finishing dead last in the group. I didn't have many expectations for this generation. Yes, they reached final in u19 but it was at home and their strategy was just making fewer errors than the opponents at an age where the are lots of errors. In truth they have a HUGE physical disadvantage (no player above 200cm, not even the MBs!)...

2017 FIVB U21 World Championship | Czech Republic

In pool E I think Iran and Poland are easily ahead in level to China and Cuba. In pool F Canada will be the whipping boys, Russia will top, and then it's very close between Brazil and Argentina (at south american championship Arg won 3-1).

2017 FIVB World League

Quoted from "ossubtus" really, people, poglajen is 195 cm tall, that's a midget to you? undersized? in what world would that be? I was talking about Toro and Bruno, both who had big part in our wins against Brazil and Bulgaria. Obviously Poglajen is not small for a OH.

2017 FIVB World League

Quoted from "saishuu" Quoted from "LDvolley" Argentina played very good volleyball in all the last weekend despite playing with two midget OHs and a MB as Opp De Cecco worked his magic. Forgot to ask before: where are Gonzalez and Lima? By the way, it is kinda surreal how both USA and Russia made it to final six after such a horrible performance in the first weekend. With Gonzalez (if you mean Jose Luis) I think the coach just judged his time with the NT is over. Lima is injured (not that serio...
