Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Lately SuperLega has created more trash talk than the rest. I think that we should go over these futile questions (Zaytsev and his tattoo, Juantorena and Ata) and get back to the game. I would leave in peace also Ngapeth's case: it is a thing that must be evalueted by the law not on forums...

Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

There are clearly two groups for now in RS: the first four are leading, with Busto surprising a bit (at the beginning I would have put Modena up there). Modena is having hard times in finding stability in their game and for now Montano as OH isn't working that much. Monza is a bit lower of their potential but they can improve, Pesaro is concrete and solid, while the biggest disappointment to me is Pomì!

Brazilian League 2017/2018

I just finished to watch Sesc RJ- Praia Clube, and I have to say that Praia is playing really well. I saw them in the final of Campeonato Mineiro and sincerely they didn't impress me at all but since then they've improved a lot and Fawcett is playing perfectly. The blocking is really impressive, but also defense and reception is solid: Suelen is playing superb. Fè Garay is hitting hard in attack, and for now they're definitely the team to beat, especially after yesterday. One thing: Claudinha is...

Are there any stats for the Eczacibasi's game? It must have been a great match to watch!

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "Kk15" Obviously the day I finally accepted to let Giannelli go on Fantavolley (I mean, if not now that he can't even jump serve, then when?) he scores 4 block + 1 point and Trento attack with 55%. EDIT plus MVP! (but for me it was Hoag) While De Cecco 1 points and 41%. I did right the same, so you know.. mal comune mezzo gaudio (italian way of saying). Congrats to Lube, I never thought they could win against this Perugia, especially with a clear 3-0. Now things are getting more int...

Italy - Serie A2 2017/18

So many good teams in a bunch of points: Cuneso, S.Giovanni in Marignano, Soverato, Chieri, Mondovì and Ravenna. This year's championship looks much more balanced than the ones before, when one/two teams dominated the scene from the beginning till the end.

Chinese Female Superleague 2017/2018 [Oct.28 - Apr.XX]

Quoted from "tomen" Quoted from "Diesse14" What is the situation with Hui Ruoqi? She will announce her retirement officially a few days later due to her heart problem. I have said about it in the post of Chinese (women's) NT 2017. Sorry I read your message in the other thread just after posting my question. I'm sorry she retires, I loved her as a player, but of course I wish her good luck.

What a pity for her and for Conegliano. All the best to Megan, I hope to see her back on court sooner or later.

Terrible images are the ones I saw about Gabi's injury. I wish her a quick recover, hoping to see her back on court. I always appreciated her for her passion and her effort!

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

@Shame: I agree that Verona can be judged only in the future, considering the new roster and that Djuric is out. Anyway I sincerely expected a little bit more from them, they surrended without even playing against Modena and Perugia. I can't see how they can reach that level. Really a sad news the one coming from Macerata. Rip

Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

I have to say I've been quite impressed by Scandicci: the team work, the chemistry is already fine. It is nust the beginning but they showed a nice volleyball. Carlini is setting good and Haak is hitting hard! I'd like to see the adrenalic Arrighetti of the past, hopefully they're on the right path. They just won two games but they showed that they want to be protagonists this season

Gray, much more than Mc Mahon is pulling Soverato in these first matches. She is playing really good! I also like Chieri, Cuneo, Ravenna, Mondovì and Trento as teams. This year the league will be much more balanced, not as last year where Pesaro and Filottrano were far ahead. And Club Italia is rocking too

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

For now there is still an enormous gap between the top four teams and the rest; sincerely I don't see how good teams as Verona, Latina or Milano can go further than the quarter finals.

At the end Perugia won, thanks to an excellent performance in block. They showed a better rhythm than Trento.

Great end of third set from Trento, especially from Vettori! Perugia looks very determinate and is playing well, Podrascanin is blocking everywhere, while Kovacevic can't find much solutions. Let's see this fourth set how it goes on!
