2017 - 2018 transfer news

Quoted from "forzalube" Quoted from "SHAME" Thiago Alves left Maringá. Source? To go where? His Instagram. Apparently it was a mutual decision, but everyone in Brazil knows what happened: he slammed Ricardinho's setting (for no reason) on live TV after a game last year. Since then he had only played a few points in one or two games at most, until he got dropped and wasn't in the squad for the last few matches. Not sure where he's gonna go.

Brazilian Superliga 2017-2018

Quoted from "barnabas" I'm watching the Corinthians-Minas match. It's looking like Minas will rake this in three sets. Quite a bummer because I was excited for this match, thinking that these two teams were pretty even Minas is a lot more stable with 20 yo Honorato instead of Bisset alongside Bob as OHs imo and Corinthians played without their best player (Fábio), so it was relatively one-sided. It was an important match for Corinthians too given how they could've grabbed the fifth position in ...

2017 / 2018 Transfer News

Quoted from "SoloBlock" Logan's list is truly impressive! I would love to see her in Germany and Poland before she is done. The only other player I can think of that can come close to Logan's list is fellow American Sonja Newcombe. She has played in Puerto Rico, France, Germany, Turkey 2X, China 2X, Azerbaijan, Italy and Brazil. Sorry for I just find it interesting and Amazing! David Lee (USA NT MB) also comes close: Greece, Russia, Italy, France, Puerto Rico, Portugal, Indonesia, Turkey and no...

Brazilian Superliga 2017-2018

The referees were simply horrible yesterday, but I'm still glad Sesc won! As for Thiaguinho, he's playing a super dangerous game so far and there's a lot to be worked on, but I like it. I'll be pissed if he doesn't make the NT squad this year. Meanwhile, in another match, Canoas beat Campinas for the second time this season, even with 37 pts from Vissotto I don't think anyone expected them to even reach the playoffs this year, let alone be close to reach 10 wins in the season, but that seems lik...

Polish NT 2017

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" Quoted from "saishuu" I wish Heynen would stay in Belgium for a little longer ): Staying with Belgium might be a fruitless endeavor. They are not even a part of the nations league after the club season. From what Mr. Heynen said last year... they are unable to pay FIVB to keep them in the league even though they had a good run because they are not a rich federation. That makes sense. He's coaching Friedrichshafen by the way, not a club from Poland.

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "SHAME" Quoted from "saishuu" Reception in this Police - Kazan game in an absolute nightmare. And now Police replaces Busa with Smarzek, sure that's gonna improve their passing. She got aced something like 3 times at least. I find it hard to do worse... Smarzek in reception for sure can do worse lmao and I'm not even defending Busa. It's like replacing trash with garbage. Remember when Chemik was wrong in choosing Grothues over Busa?

Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

Quoted from "USAvolleyfan" Quoted from "saishuu" Just wondering: would any of you guys leave a job that gave you stability (both career and money-wise), prestige and success? Asking about Gozde? Nope, Naz, since people here think she should leave the best team in the world and go play in a smaller one.
