CEV Champions League 2018

Sucks for Moscow that they are in Pool C. I could see them being at the top of B pretty easily

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" Giani says he will try to get Abdel-Aziz back for the saturday match vs Piacenza. I hope he is ok. Do you think there is pressure for him to play because he could have the highest scoring season of all time?

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "SHAME" Patch 21 points and 61%. And there's a lot of room for improvements. He was too talented to play like shit all season. What a comeback too

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" Seems like a phenomenal game for Kurkaev. The middle blockers of Chaumont are just really average compared to him so we see these kind of battles usually are won like that when you have middle blockers that are blessed with the stature and the talent. Vandoorn is actually really good, which makes Kurkaev's domination even more impressive

Piacenza takes their second 3-2 win in a row. Got to keep the games interesting! Glad they were able to score today without completely relying on old man Fei.

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" In order to collect more break points. You need a good server. Lanza's serve has been very inconsistent so Hoag should start in my opinion. I like that reasoning. It's a tough balancing act when you have three viable outsides with different strengths and weaknesses

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" I already said this but Lanza is better from the bench than as a titular. Why do you think that is?

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" Quoted from "Bahkawdi" So jealous of you guys in Italy who can watch the RaiSport games. Oh well, Modena-Verona isn't too bad. http://videostream.dn.ua/videopage/video…4%96f%E2%84%96f It has no commentary however. It's not like it's needed but it adds to the excitement even if the speaker is italian. Thank you for that! Those betting overlays are annoying though

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "Kk15" Well, to understand the 'score rankings' you just need to know the 'title' (score/point=punto, block=muro, the rest are the same or similar, in case feel free to ask o look for the transition thread in the forum ). And the name of the players I've actually spent enough time in the legavolley.it site and watching the game broadcasts that I can understand all the volleyball terms well, it's just the articles I wish I could read. But thank you for the help! Quoted from "Kk15" Da...

I think Milano played a fun game but you're right, that serving is just too much for most teams to handle

I flipped over to the Modena-Piacenza game, teams were getting heated at each other and the refs at the end of the third set. Also, Nimir hitting the free ball that De Cecco sent over https://streamable.com/orc9s

Quoted from "Kk15" Ps Volleyball.it always keeps count of the top scorer/attacker/blocker/'acer' of the Superlega, if you are interested you can keep up there Omg that site is amazing. Now I just need to learn Italian Watching the Milano-Perugia game and Perugia seems to be continuing their dicey play from the weekend

Anyone else notice that Abdel-Aziz is on pace for 600+ points in this regular season? I looked back a few years until like 12-13 and no one else has reached this mark even if you account for the 22 game equivalent of 600 points, which is 508 points. No one is even that close. Pretty crazy he is scoring this much.

Men's World Championship 2018

Quoted from "tomen" about 57 minutes (other viewers said - the time when China was announced that it will join Pool B) rxxxxm means racism - I don't hope so. I think the Italians were just pissed about getting Slovenia in their pool. The guy drawing the balls looked like he saw a ghost when he drew Slovenia.

Men's World Championship 2018

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" It could've been worse. I feel Pool A could be the most difficult group. Interesting, I thought Pool A could be the weakest. They got the easiest draws in the second and third round with Argentian/Japan for sure, but Belgium and Slovenia back-to-back evens it out a little I guess. Either way, Pool B & C are brutal. Brazil-Canada-France and USA-Russia-Serbia are absolutely savage. Can't wait to watch.

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "Kk15" Modena lost the first set of the RS (25-23 vs Verona) but then won the match apparently without too many concerns. Watched most of this one too. Verona actually looks like a strong team and was leading in the third set before a huge Modena run. Verona just gets in a funk too easily and starts making unforced errors. Also the Bruno to Holt connection was looking fiiiiine.
