Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

EDIT: the MVP was Urnaut, there was an error in the news. I don't remember for how long he signed, sorry (I tried to check but had no luck) Ps Saturday Sbertoli injured his right ankle, while the previous injury was on the left foot.

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Oh I'm very sorry for Padova defeat They were so close... Argenta MVP, at the end. Again at his second match as titular! Now I'm even more sad than I was during the market for the fact Trento couldn't air him Perugia won 3-0, but the last two sets were very tight! Only Ricci in for Anzani, then they played with the titular.

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

I decide to watch my dear Padova that was 22-23 and 1-2 vs Ravenna, but I had no idea it was going to be such a thrilling end of the set! 32-30, with a lot of mess by the referees + players complains! Does a yellow card for 'delated game' + yellow card for a single player get summed and gave a point to the opponents? Imho the referee skipped the red card to avoid giving a point to Ravenna, but I wonder why he didn't use a simple yellow anyway.

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" I like Cester. His serve is amazing. He's also hot. Any injury that prevented him from starting over Candellaro? Joining the NT? Yes he is very hot Any injury that I know how, I really think it was a technical reason by Blengini. Quoted from "SHAME" And Modena crushed Lube 3-0 in Civitanova. I wouldn't expected such a clear victory not even with Ngapeth and Sabbi in! Quoted from "scarpetta" Urnaut is so underrated because his nationality is Slovenian. If he was ...

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

This set to Verona, with a very messy last point (on both side). Manavi was great in the third set. Mengozzi got injured (ankle). Kovacevic was playing great until he was blocked on a Trento free ball after a great serve by Kozamernick: from a possible 19-17 to 20-16 for Verona, and the set was practically closed then, Verona even incremented the advantages (also with another block on Kovacevic). Anyway, Verona leaded by 3-4 points practically from 13-9 (actually Trento reached 13-12, but then V...

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Well, the best Italian MBs isn't necessary a good MB, considering our average level I'm impressed that Modena is winning 2-0 despite playing without Sabbi and Ngapeth! Still, for ranking reasons (Trento reasons, obviously ) I would have preferred Lube to win...

Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

Sorry, that's a bit off topic but... What do you think about Lucia Crisanti? I just found out she is playing in B1!! Is it really possible that all the italian MBs in A1 and A2 are worst than her? Pomì 13th defeat, they lost 3-1 vs Pesaro... Lucky for them Legnano is a mess now...

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Piacenza played 8 tie breaks, with 6 victories (losses vs Lube and Verona), and 3 of these came after losing 2-0! Not bad! It's a pity that Milano didn't close the match in the third set (I haven't watched the 4th), a 3 points victory vs Piacenza without Abdel Aziz would have been great. Both at the end of the third and in the tie break Fei serves condemned Milano (or Fanuli reception, as you prefer...) Anyway, Milano in the misfortune is lucky that there's gonna be the Italian Cup pause, so the...

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

I started watching during the third and I wanted to ask you if Sbertoli was playing that bad even with Milano winning, instead I found out he is injured again is it the same problem? I read it's ankle this time, and last time was metatarsi in the foot...

2017 - 2018 transfer rumours

Other rumors: Grebennikov may go in Trento and Balaso in Lube (that's not brand new, but still). Lisiniac may go in Trento (it's even suggest he may have signed already). Well, I wouldn't complain Abdel Aziz may be Lube option if Sokolov will go in Russia. Modena could be another possibility, but he is a foreign so they would have to change something else. Modena first should be Zaytsev, anyway. Zaytsev as opposite has offer also from Verona and Milano, probably both too low at the moment. It's ...

2017 - 2018 transfer rumours

Well may be also Baranowicz, among the italians... but I would stick with Luciano, even if that would mean giving Podke away.

Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

Unbelievable, now Legnano denounced the former coach Pistola to "Lega Pallavolo Serie A" claiming that – preferring Mingardi to Drews – he caused the second girl to chose to go away and all the girls in general to be annoyed by his 'impartial' choices, and that created a bad clima in the team. Guess what, the punishment that Legnano proposed is that they doesn't want to pay 8 of his 9 monthly salaries. I wonder how is that possible, since they claimed the journalists were lying when they wrote L...

CEV Champions League 2018

I still have to watch the last set but I'm very happy for the victory, for the game expressed (not flowless but good) and for Vettori performance, 78% in attack, 3 blocks, 2 ace (one was lucky). On the other hand I'm sorry Nicholas couldn't play a bit because of the shoulder, the Hoag derby has to wait. And Partenio (second setter) entrances to serve were useless: two errors, and I'm not sure I got his serve technique. The first time Lorenzetti complained that he want in to 'make his serve' and ...

Now Zingel in. Lorenzetti is often alternating these two lately, I think he want mostly to take advantages of Kozamenrick's serve, but he doesn't want to give up Zingel block skills. Luckily Kozamenrick isn't doing his job quite well, so Lorenzetti can afford to often use him as titular and Zingel for a front rotation, instead of using Zingel as titular and Kozamenrick for a serve run (or two, with a rotation in the front in the middle).

Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

Quoted from "JoanaBG" What the HELL happened there, anyway??! I read Novara lost the tie break after being 14-10!! And Bergamo at a certain point put Malagurski on the bench, Marcon in as OH and one between Acosta and Sylla as Opp, I think the first but I'm not sure. It clearly paid off Lee had her 'first time' in Superlega in Legnano-Conegliano Funny thing is that she scored the first (I think) ball she touched... with a free-ball pass 2 meters too long that felt in the other court Genius!! Le...

Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

Quoted from "crovolley" and Bergamo beats Busto. After losing 2-0... Congrats Bergamo! I usually find myself cheering for Busto this year, being so Italian and quite young too, but I always had a little thing for Bergamo and I'm very happy for Malinov
