Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "Kk15" I agree, and if you think about it last year it was practically the same even with Stokr and Nelli: all the trash to Lanza and Urnaut. Luckily (well, it's not a coincidence he was aired) Kovacevic is a master of trash balls. Lanza for me is great in that as well, but last season he was more effective than this one. I won't say Giannelli gave all the trash balls to Lanza/Urnaut last year but it was definitely not a team reliant on the opposite. This time... it felt like Gianne...

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Seems to me that Giannelli or specifically Lorenzetti wanted to bring back the confidence of Vettori. Giannelli is still under-using Vettori. The number of balls he sent to Vettori is too low for an opposite and Lanza or Kovacevic depending on who passes the ball the less gets the most difficult sets and as obvious... the most errors in attacks. If I have to guess... Giannelli probably still doesn't trust Vettori but limiting the sets to him to only high percentage kills and forcing the out of s...

Is a 3rd Meter pipe possible?

I am confused by the question... Do you mean hitting the pipe on top of the 3 meter line or before it?

Brazilian Superliga 2017-2018

Another SESC RJ victory that came from a controversial decision from the ref. I like Rio. I really do but it must be frustrating that some of their biggest wins are not clear wins. By the way... the first ref may have messed up but he is hot af. I wanted to hate him for what happened but he is so good looking.lol The guy got those Hemsworth eyes. How can you hate him?

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Whatever the severity. I hope nothing of negative consequence happens. I've always been pro-players. The sport doesn't pay too well especially for men. Heard enough from Clayton Stanley's recent interview and so sad to hear a champion can't jump anymore without feeling some pain. Bulgaria sucks. Other national teams would probably have some control over their players' health conditions. I guess either he took the shot or Lube is really lying about his condition. That's just my hot take anyway.

I hope Sokolov didn't take any cortisone shots. That could ruin his career for the long term.

2017 - 2018 transfer news

Quoted from "powsoff" Georg Grozer leaves Novosibirsk, joins Belogorie. Novosibirsk gets Maxim Zhigalov instead: http://lokovolley.ru/news/command_news/v…ozera_zhigalov/ This sounds like the Loko bosses initialised the cash saving mode. Belgorod wanted Grozer for the whole season. There's very little sense in this exchange otherwise. Grozer will add a better service to Belgorod but then they lose a great serving sub Zhigalov. So many questions after this move. Bakun and Grozer...who's starting?...

I have to say the Stankovic will have a very hard time to be effective if he's always on the bench.

2017 - 2018 transfer rumours

Quoted from "Kk15" Quoted from "scarpetta" - Only alternative remains for Kazan is Leal. Leal will go to Kazan. It seems Kazan is looking for Ngapeth as first option and Leal as second. Imho after his past experience in Russia it won't be that easy to convince Ngapeth, if the Paris-project will start as rumored. Quoted from "scarpetta" In this structure; Kazan, Paris and Perugia will play for the CL Championship. I understood this Paris team would have been a new one, so how can they join the C...

2017 - 2018 transfer rumours

Quoted from "Kk15" Quoted from "SHAME" I don't see Russell moving Me neither, but being the second of Leon/Podraskanin may not be his first choice... They wouldn't be having a problem like this if they renewed Zaytsev and let go of Atanasijevic.

2017 - 2018 transfer rumours

Quoted from "Kk15" After all it seems the Paris superstars team may not happen (at least this year), the time is too short and they don't want to improvise. Quoted from "powsoff" I hope you're joking. Noone wants Ngapeth in Russia after Russia's past experience with him Well, I do know only the Ngapeth version to be honest, so I wasn't joking but I'm obviously biased ' Despite the technical aspect (he is another player now), I would love to know more! About Lanza in Perugia, it's simply a choic...

2017 - 2018 transfer rumours

Quoted from "scarpetta" My thoughts on some of the rumored transfers; - Perugia: Lanza-Leon-Atanasijevic, supported by Podrascanin,Colaci and De Cecco will be one unstoppable team. I think with Leon they should definitely bring an Italian OH. - Modena; I'm sure Ngapeth and Bruno will leave the team if Stoycthev continues to coach. Argenta may turn into unexpected jewel. I hope they won't waste him. Urnaut will continue but they need good OH and setter. - Trento; if they will play CEV Cup next y...

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

I think for now...Both Civitanova and Perugia are aiming for the victory in their champions league return match. Very important one to take now that Civitanova is clearly not in great form for Superlega's calendar. They have two weeks to recuperate. This team hasn't seen its potential since the beginning. It should be stronger than what we are seeing but they are completely underperforming because they got to greedy by signing Sander which relegated both Kovar and Randazzo(who left) to the bench...

Quoted from "scarpetta" Brett Walsh has taken the starting position from Kawika Shoji. Interesting This year American setter position will be problematic. I agree but I don't think USA is the only top team having setter problems.

2017 - 2018 transfer rumours

Zaytsev to Lanza in Perugia? I'm actually glad we have some transfer buzz about Trevor Clevenot. Such a step up from Leon or Leal. Joking aside. It's a good move if the cubans are unavailable or just too expensive but where are the italians,Sirci?

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "SHAME" Zingel was supposed to be started beside Eder. And Kozamernik was supposed to be back for them. Noone of them is playing well it's no coincidence to me. The team lost the starting libero. They keep changing the outside hitters and Giannelli is nowhere close to his best game. Zingel may be weak as server, but there's Kozamernik, who's not so bad under the net; at least under Giani he used to be a good player. So, to me, this is a good MB pack. I agree that this is a good MB p...
