Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

Quoted from "beri" Personally I don't like to continously talk about how bad one player is or talk negative all the time unless if Im really annoyed. Maybe try telling us who you like instead of who you don't like more to keep the thread more positive? When I see something I like I say it, doesn't mean I said they are Boskovic or Zhu Ting. To be honest, there are not many local players who I like this season except the core NT players. Following ones are the players I have positive impression t...

Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

Quoted from "beri" Elif should play as starter in some team next season and then we can compare them. That's not gonna happen for sure, so we won't have any problem She can only be starter in second division.

Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

I don't think Conegliano's reception is weaker than Novara's but I agree that Fabris is not reliable in crucial moments when they need someone kill the ball in out of system.

I don't understand the big fuss about Elif Boran, she is only making mistakes whenever she is in. However Ceyda is terrible as well, so it is a decision about who is worse

Turkish NT 2018

Quoted from "beri" Those 4 MBs were imo the best as well. Really amazing 4 btw Beyza and Asli are to me just not enough for A team atm You were praising her as if she is Turkish Thaisa Finally you realized that she doesn't have anything special MB position seems like secure for now but as we don't have any replacement for Eda, in the case of her injury, we will be in big trouble. Let's hope that she will be injury free and she can keep up this shape till 2020. Setter position is also safe as lo...

Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

Quoted from "Harrison" @serdar did you watch Vakıf's matches? Tuğba is really awful at receiving. She is also making lots of mistakes at attacking. When she was starter, she was always replaced by Gözde.I think next year Guidetti will play with 2 local MBs or local opp.Ebrar is training with A team, she is added to Champions League squad last week. Also Guidetti likes Meryem. Tuğba is clearly not a defensive OH but rather a balanced OH who can both attack and receive decently, which is something m...

Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

Quoted from "harboboy" I can actually see a lot of potential in Damla. I know her attack and reception may not be the best but her defense is very good! I can imagine her being in VakifBank and taking Gözdes role. Of course, she needs a lot of to improve and she needs a coach like Guidetti to improve on a maximum level. Remember: Gözde was also not the best when she came to Vakif, the reason why Gözde is today Gözde is Guidetti, he made an amazing player out of her and this just couple a years ...

2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League

Quoted from "Noncommittal" Every core teams have to host at least 1 pool. The FIVB has told since the first news of VNL published. I think China host 6 pools in both men's and women's help the competition go well. Because, many women teams avoid to host the WGP, like DOM SRB KOR. Three of them rarely host the competition. Actually, Hong Kong and Macau bid as their own national federation. Moreover, some countries participate in both men's and women's host only 1 pool each. The pressure go to co...

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "serdar" FB did way better than I expected. People shouldn't be so harsh to Rahimova, she played as OH for the first time as a receiver and it is clearly not her expertise and also her attacks from left side is not very strong. Conegliano is very shaky, with such a performance they will be eaten alive by both Vakıfbank and GS. Even FB with such a roster managed to get two sets thanks to their strong servers, I can't see how they will deal with GS's and Vakıf's servers It was a pleas...

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "saishuu" Can't wait until they overuse an already injured Natália and another Thaísa situation happens... Isn't she recovered already? She is probably most paid player in the league and FB let KYK go to keep Natalia, so it is fair to expect her to lead the team and so far she has been very disappointing

CEV Champions League 2018

No Alba Blaj, please! They are already lucky with their draw, a final four slot shouldn't be awarded to them. Kazan is the only team that deserves to be in the final four besides Turkish and Italian teams (even then, they will be 4th most likely) By the way, will Vargas play against Vakifbank? She is not on the roster but Guidetti said he expects Dinamo to be stronger after addition of their new transfer

Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

Zhu's reception is a big liability against good server teams like GS I wish Robinson could step up her game especially at offense. Hill was a perfect sub for Zhu last year The reason why Kübra plays as slide attacker is simply that Rasiç doesn't play as slide attacker neither. Zehra is not a good slider neither. Indeed besides Eda, we don't have any good slider (missing one of the best European slider Aysun Özbek ) Kübra, Dicle, Zehra, Aslı, Büşra are all M2 players. That's indeed one of the rea...

Comparison of Strength of European Leagues

The discussion always comes down to the criteria you determine as strength Do you compare title contenders in the league or are you as strong as your weakest member? If we compare the top 3 teams, LKS Lodz, Police and Rzeszow are as strong as Schwerin, Dresden, and Stuttgart. Also Beziers, Cannes and Mulhouse are pretty much on the same level as well as Alba Blaj, Bucuresti and Stiinta Bacau. I think we will be able to judge the level of these leagues once the European cups ended

Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

Quoted from "beri" Quoted from "serdar" Quoted from "beri" Rachel Sanchez is my hero, she is an MB normally but plays as Opp recently and damn 61% success spike rate today also good match by Salas again 24 kills (45%) and Ramirez is a great leader to finish it off #goCubans Sanchez played as MB today . I saw her play as Opp in at least some of the parts of the match. Check the stat sheet: http://tvf-web.dataproject.com/MatchStat…58&type=LegList She was opposite of Nesve for all 4 sets so she wa...

It is indeed weird. Askasspor has a female team that's playing in the second division for many years but they always play with youngs...
