CEV Champions League 2018

https://volleymob.com/champions-league-playoff-math/ Article I wrote on different playoff scenarios. Basically, if either Chaumont or Berlin lose they are out, and Chaumont has the tiebreak if they lose by the same number of sets. Belchatow can still miss the playoffs if they lose 3-0, Wegiel loses exactly 3-1, and Berlin, Chaumont, and Maaseik all win their matches which is a hilariously unlikely event

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "scarpetta" Congrats @Bahkawdi you discovered America again Haha just saying teams don't do it enough in the SuperLega. Also, Chaumont should be winning this match but Boyer is completely shitting the bed and they can't hit a serve.

CEV Champions League 2018

Knack Roeselare served Juantorena 37 times compared to 18 for the rest of the team combined (and only 4 to Grebbenikov). He only passed 14% on those and made 5 errors. Teams in Italy should be taking note

CEV Champions League 2018

The Lube vs. Knack Roeselare match is getting so heated. And they are serving every single ball to Juantorena it's hilarious

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "scarpetta" Of course Walsh , me Walsh is a true baller, great setter and only going to get better. IMO Monza should have been starting him sooner

Trentino was down 11-14 and won 25-18 against Latina . That's the fight they were missing earlier in the season.

Quoted from "scarpetta" Brett Walsh has taken the starting position from Kawika Shoji. Interesting This year American setter position will be problematic. Brett Walsh is Canadian. But he will definitely put some pressure on TJ Sanders this summer.

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" I feel bad for Kovacevic. He was the MVP in the Verona game but Vettori is on the picture. It's a very interesting graph though. Haha I didn't even realize I did that Poor Kovacevic. Honestly, I just did players that I could find a good picture of I tried to show some stats that would give a broad overview of the strengths and weaknesses of each team. Some of them you won't find anywhere else

Vettori seemed to be playing much better this match, although I didn't watch the whole thing. Mainly looking forward to the games this weekend. I want to find a good VPN for the games so I can put them on the big screen Also, I made some hype posters for my Instagram with some key stats on each team if you are interested in checking them out: Trentino Modena Going to do Perugia and Lube the next couple days.

Quoted from "SHAME" Relegations are back next season. 2 teams will be relegated. Anyway I can't see teams that can actually afford Superlega. Emma Villas maybe? I was reading through the league legal documents, and the fee to join is 400,000 euro?! Is that accurate because that seems high for the teams located in smaller towns

Quoted from "Kk15" Argenta MVP, at the end. Again at his second match as titular! What is Argenta's contract? Seems like a few teams could definitely use him as their starting opposite

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" Can someone ask Fei where he found the elixir of youth? (okay not his physical appearance but his form makes me question Vettori's inclusion in the NT sometimes) It's unreal how he is playing this well when he is almost 40

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "Kk15" I started watching during the third and I wanted to ask you if Sbertoli was playing that bad even with Milano winning, instead I found out he is injured again is it the same problem? I read it's ankle this time, and last time was metatarsi in the foot... It looked like it was the ankle this time. He was walking off without too much assistance though so I can't imagine its that bad.

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" I don't even know what's wrong with Giani. He knows Sbertoli is not totally fine yet but he's overworking him when Angel can still play without the foreign player limit bothering MilanoEs Especially since Angel actually has pretty smooth hands. Cebulj has stepped up like crazy this game, really impressed with his play. Still think Piacenza is going to win in 5, as is their typical fashion.

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" I have no idea about the scoring record. I really don't think it's important or Nimir would've seen more balls passed to him in the Ravenna game. I think his serve is more important to Milano than his actual scoring(I know serves can lead to ace points too but you know great serve easy blocking) so he probably remained in the game while battling an injury. I checked back to 2009/10 and he would have had the most points in a season since then. He might still get ...
