Chinese Female Superleague 2017/2018 [Oct.28 - Apr.XX]

What happened to Wang Yimei? Is she in the doghouse because of the spat with the coach? Anyway Liu Xiaotong is still the better Liu. Transfers shined on the first games. Liu Xiaotong and Yuan Xinyue won games honors.

Jiangsu got the biggest upgrade on paper. If Diao can connect well with Li Jing and Yuan Xinyue, then I pick them as the favorites. I am surprised no team pick up CNT liberos.

2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League

It is a good tournament to test out young players potential. It's only bad for fans because teams might not send their A teams at all. Going to suck for players stamina for sure.

Bayi choked as usual. Zhang Changning played her best game when the season was on the line so it's good too see her being clutch.

Defending champs Jiangsu is done unless Bayi chokes against Zhejiang and they play against Shanghai's bench.

CEV Champions League 2018

Fener can still win the group by beating both Italian teams in 4 or less sets and Novara wins against Conegliano. Hard to achieve. Mia should change her name to Anita or Ivana for the announcers.

Japan - V.Premier League 2017-2018

Every player will have slumps but I didn't think Koga's poor play warranted getting cut. She has the most potential but Manabe brought in another libero for defense. Japan needed more offense imo. That's why I didn't like his decision. Koga could have used Rio as experience but will have to wait until 2020 playing in home crowd for her first Olympics under pressure if she makes it. Anyway I hope she reaches her potential as I have always thought she would be the successor to Saorin.

Japan - V.Premier League 2017-2018

Quoted from "sitenoise" I'm not sure about Koga's 'bounce back'. NEC had a good 16/17 season (and roster), yes, but did you watch the 2017 WGP or Asian Championship or the Club Worlds? Or any of her club games this season? I have yet to see anything like I saw in the 2015 World Cup. She had a good game against Brazil in the WGP and was invisible for the rest of the tournament. I still love her for her superb defense, though. She's solid and smart with beautiful technique. Where is Airi Miyabe p...

Japan - V.Premier League 2017-2018

Quoted from "brahmin" Koga has improved compared to 2 years ago, which was her second season. She went to the national team right out of high school, right into NEC. Too much too fast. That second year was brutal as nothing seemed to work for her. Last year got back on track after not making Olympic team. She will never be a big spiker due to height, but if she can change speeds and put the ball into the corners, she'll be an effective player. Young enough to try and go overseas, but I doubt th...

Final spot will be between Jiangsu and Bayi with Jiangsu having top 2 teams to play so Jiangsu could be eliminated. Tiebreaker will go to Jiangsu though.

Chinese Female Superleague 2017/2018 [Oct.28 - Apr.XX]

Playoffs scenario with 3 games remaining. Shanghai 8-3: Jiangsu, Liaoning, Jiangsu Liaoning 8-3: Beijing, Shanghai, Beijing Jiangsu 7-4: Shanghai, Tianjin, Shanghai Tianjin 7-4: Guangdong, Jiangsu, Guangdong Bayi 6-5: Zhejiang, Beijing, Zhejiang Shanghai and Liaoning can qualify with a win. A Bayi loss will give Shanghai and Liaoning playoff spots, and if Jiangsu wins, will also qualify. So Bayi can't afford any losses or it is over for them unless Tianjin chokes 2 times against weak Guangdong. ...

Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

Thanks so much for the information. It's a coincidence that KYK and Zhu play for the Asian side of Istanbul. I can assume all the Istanbul teams don't like each other.
