Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "Rains_of_Castamere" I have to say however I am missing Giannelli's dump attacks. It's not that efficient anymore. I must admit I've never been a great lover of Giannelli second touches (except the real spiked ones one flying balls), I think they're often predictable and even if not quite 'diggable'. Only at the very beginning when he was still unknown I had the impression they were truly effective. Anyway I agree that it's getting a bit worst. Having said that, One or two matches a...

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

I agree, and if you think about it last year it was practically the same even with Stokr and Nelli: all the trash to Lanza and Urnaut. Luckily (well, it's not a coincidence he was aired) Kovacevic is a master of trash balls. Lanza for me is great in that as well, but last season he was more effective than this one.

Quoted from "usantvolleyball" Bricio will never play in Turkey with that serve. What's the problem with her type of serve? I love it

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Not again this week please!! Edit: thank you Holt... From 10-14 for Trento to 13-14, then the serve out (not by much) saved us.

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

The 4th set was so suddenly dominated by Modena (from 13-13 to 25-27) that I missed the end of the set. After all Milano won 3-0 but with three set went to advantages (one won by Padova, two by Milano)

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "scarpetta" but I don't think it was as severe as club's manager described. At the end Cormio's word where misread: he didn't say Sokolov needed at least 20 days of stop, but that he would have been at his top in 20 days. There are still rumors that he will need an important knee surgery in the summer, but who knows... I mean, he can clearly play. Also Lanza two years ago was rumored to need a knee surgery, then he recovered without it, for example. We will see. This time Trento ste...

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

I can see Modena-Trento... But I've guests so I'm only following the live score and then watching the very end of the sets. Argenta is playing, as Urnaut, Rossini (yesterday both him and Tosi were at risk), and I saw also Ngapeth on court in the last part of the second. Overall they're less messed up (in terms of presences) than I expected. Trento wasted the first set (at a certain point they were ahed 20-16, then I opened and it was 24-23, and in the advantages they made two mistakes – I'm sure...

Italy - Serie A1 2017/18

Watched the end of the second, pretty wasted by Busto but with Conegliano merits (they almost wasted it too with an indecision between Fabris and Moki in a doable defense for the 23-24 for Busto). I didn't understand why the double change Wolosz-Nicoletti for Bechis-Fabris was made setter-setter and opposite-opposite, but was crossed, even if Nicoletti was in second line and vice versa. Anyway, it did work. But I would like to hear your opinion about the advantages of having Bechis in first line...

Now they opened another sector in Turin, at 28 euros (not numbered, on the short side of the court)

Men's World Championship 2018

I copy your answer here as well for everybody: Hi! I'm pretty sure they will open the sell of other sectors time by time, no way it's already sold out. We all think the same in the Italian fans blog, but of course it's just a guess. Last year with the CL final4 in Rome it was the same. Also in Rome they started selling only in two (big) sectors, of course the one on the referee side, because it would be too right to let the people that buy the ticket first pick the best spot [sorry, I'm pretty m...

I don't know... but now I'm terribly curious!! I would have said the second could easily be just friendship, while the first of today it could be a joke or the truth...

CEV Champions League 2018

Holy crap I can't believe we lost this match like this What a terrible decision to put Teppan in for Kovacevic to serve at 11-14, I felt immediately that it would have been a bad choice, but it was even more terrible than I expected! Anyway, despite the killing final I did enjoy this match, it was pretty fought and there were several intense action. Zaksa defense was amazing! Edit: Hoag had a shoulder problem Edit 2: I wanted to look at the stat first, but they kinda confirm my impression: Vetto...

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "Kk15" Sokolov has to stop for 20 days... It appears Cormio didn't say 'we will have him back in 20 days maximum", but "we will have him at maximum in 20 days". So they say he isn't at the top but he that he can play. Other rumors said he needs an important knee surgery, but of course this isn't the right moment... Anyway, I absolutely picture Sokolov as a player that would play on one leg to help the team, so I don't imagine a situation were he doesn't want to play and Lube forces ...

Men's World Championship 2018

Tomorrow at 3pm the italian tickets will be on sail for Rome, Milan, Turin, Florence. For Bologna and Bari not yet. Yes, they let us wait for months, and know they advise us only one day before (not even 24h, actually), and WITHOUT GIVING THE PRICES. Madness.
