CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "saishuu" Quoted from "beri" Grejman is actually playing in Turkish 2nd league to be with her boyfriend Kurek not the other way around. Yeah, but Kurek isn't really playing anywhere at this point, is he? He was injured, he actually played the last league match and did well

I agree on Serdar, I think Tugba can be named as a balanced OH than defensive or offensive. She is similar to Havelkova etc. What I like with her attacking is, her arm swing, she hits hard on the right spots. What I dont like is, her approach is too slow. If she can speed up her attacking, she would become a very good OH. Honestly I don't see any good OH prospects from Turkish locals at the moment with exception of Derya Cebecioglu (Vakifbank's young player on loan in Division 1) who recently go...

CEV Champions League 2018

Natalia had a knee injury since the beginning of NT season last summer. Ze was the one (ab)using or overusing her in all unncessary matches last summer. She came to FB injured and did not play for a while, that's why we saw Polen-Polina-Mia trio time to time on the court, FB receiving with only 2 people. Then Natalia was fine for a while but recently her injury repeated and now she refuses to play herself. That is also because she does not seem to like Jan de Brandt

FB is not bringing Mia Jerkov to Italy for the match against Imoco. Looks like she is left out of squad due to indiscipline. I dont know the real reason but that's quite big. Might be so that she had a conflict with Jan de Brandt. Now FB lost two of their few OHs in such a short period, Ezgi D and Mia.

Quoted from "beri" Beyza is playing horrible... Why does Motta not try Yasemin she is taller and has a better slide approach then Beyza and is surely better then Busra overall. +the few matches Yasemin played she was good. She is now on loan to Karayollari. She wanted to play regularly so they loaned her with double license. Im not sure if she is in the squad.

Help - Your opinion on what my coach told me

Hi! To begin with, I understand your dissapointment in general. There are several problems here: 1-When you look from your coach's perspective, I know that it is very difficult to train teams with different skill levels. It is hard to design drills and keep an eye on all players. I think that is one of the main reasons that your coach is telling you to be in a team where they can design individual improvement drills for your to improve your receiving/defense technique. 2-I totally get your frust...

If nothing changes in FB, they will most likely move down to 4th place after Eczacibasi and Vakifbank games and Bursa can put up a great fight against them in playoff 8.

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "Harrison" Gs probably will be F4 host Of course Conegliano or Novara or Kazan can beat Turkish teams. It's not world end.In 2014 Kazan was champions by 3-0, in 2016 Pomi was champion by 3-0.It is sport, everything can be. I really hope that to happen unless Imoco or Novara takes it. Rumours were that GS or Volero will host it. It will be a shame to watch this Volero in F4 and will be unfair to the other semifinalists

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "crovolley" If you haven't played volleyball than you don't know how diffrent is to recive with two diffrent balls in short period. "I don't think Neslihan-Rabadzhieva duo is worse than Hill-Bricio duo in receiving" Did you saw stats from Neslihan against Vakif and Moscow ? I mean ofc She is not great reciver She is not OH, but you can't compare her with Hill-Bricio reception. I still play volleyball. It is not my fault that Italian federation uses a different ball than rest of the ...

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "crovolley" As We saw. Imoco hold very well against strong serving team but what will happend with Galata reception ? We do khow how weak Kosheleva is with her reception and you can't expect from Nesliham to recive good whole match. Same with Kazan reception. Kosheleva has not been receiving at all after the terrible Vakifbank and Eczacibasi matches in the 1st half of the Turkish league. Neslihan is the 2nd best receiver in CL so far by the statistics. Having Kosheleva as an option ...

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "crovolley" Play-offs will be very intersting. And I'm hoping to see Galatasaray - Imoco Conegliano. Or Dinamo Kazan - Imoco Conegliano. If they beat this two teams than they are for sure ready to fight against Vakifbank. Conegliano showed that they are very good serving team( with Fenerbahce - two best serving teams) so teams like Kazan and Galatasaray will have huge problems. Not sure about Kazan but GS became a very good serving team as well. Neslihan has been acing quite many ti...

CEV Champions League 2018

Quoted from "USAvolleyfan" Quoted from "Meatballs" Quoted from "beri" So when looking at the odds Conegliano is unsurprisngly the favorite of the match with 1.61. I'm curious to see FB today it looks really bad for them when judging their bad performances lately in Turkish league but I still hope for a good match since most matches in CL were so bad/boring so far tbh. Connegliano is indeed the favorite of this match considering how these two teams perform recently. The main point today is, how ...

Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

Quoted from "beri" Quoted from "leo2017" After this round NO.3 and No.4 of regular season is almost fixed. The war left in regular season is between vakifbank and ecz vitra to get no.1 now. I think fenerbache and galatasary should focus more on champions league now. Top 3 is done sure but there is only 3 points between Galatasaray and Bursa so that one is not sure at all. Also the battle for top 8 is more exciting then ever this season. Halkbank, BJK, Nilüfer, Seramiksan, Beylikdüzü and even Ça...

Turkey- VVSL-Vestel Venus Women's League 2017/2018

I think any team in Turkey would love to have KYK in their team still. Vakifbank would have an amazing duo with Zhu-KYK, Larson will very likely leave Eczacibasi next season and they could use KYK-Hande (Meliha), GS could do great with KYK-Neslihan-Kosheleva trio and FB misses her a lot and simply couldnt find a good replacement. I wish she could play another 10 years Thank you Shame for your comment above

Quoted from "Canter" Quoted from "Meatballs" Wow! GS is being very unlucky in crucial moments again and again, I hope all these will turn around in playoffs. Must be very dissapointing for girls. Rabadzhieva is such a waste of investment for GS so far. It becomes so obvious that Koshe or Nesli will get the ball when Rabadzhieva simply is useless in attacking. Those 2 receiving errors in a row in the last set, I really don't know what to expect from her from now on. I wish GS kept Leys or Gulden...
