The last day before the final series starts Schwerins and Germanys head coach Koslowski also told 50:50 chances for both teams. Both sides consider the first match as being very important, despite it is a best-of-five series, but I think, this is mostly a psychologically advantage to win the first match.
I have watched the very close tie-break of final series in Switzerland match three: Pfeffingen had three match balls than, but couldn't use one, so Volero won in the end 17:15 and leads now the final series 2:1. This time they stayed with two Swiss players, so they didn't repeat the "action" of the second match (and the injured(?) Laura Unternährer was pretty good today), but you can easily see, that that one could be decisive in the end. While Pfeffingen has nearly nothing aside from their star...
Quoted from "crovolley" @togutt Conegliano, Novara are confirmed for CL, and Scandicci to ? So that means Busto is gone play CEV Cup ? I would like to watch Monza next season playing CEV Cup they building very strong team next season. European Cups ranking for 2019: Italy gets two berths in CL pool stage, for the both finalists of championship, i.e. Novara and Conegliano. Better semi final participant of the league round, Scandicci, gets CL qualification rounds ticket; the weaker one the CEV cu...
Quoted from "phoenix1" source https://www.facebook.com/berit.kauffeldt/?ref=br_rs No reason given, especially no injury, and 27 is not exactly the age to cease a professional volleyball career without good reason - maybe lack of motivation now or she wants to get into "real", i.e. normal life also for earning her living with perspective?
Quoted from "Matthias" Juliane Langgemach in Münster for 2 more years. Yes, I already entered her in the Münster roster post.
Quoted from "beri" Omg the way Guidetti screams at the referees is so damn disrespectful even if they were wrong. The referee was literally on the verge of tears... Gio should take some anger management classes Well done and GO TIGERS Quoted from "beri" Omg the way Guidetti screams at the referees is so damn disrespectful even if they were wrong. The referee was literally on the verge of tears... Gio should take some anger management classes Well done and GO TIGERS He is Italian, anger control ...

Quoted from "Dillio" Quoted from "StefanS" In an interview regarding going to a foreign league with Voleros professional team the club owner Stav Jacobi listed his personal list of stronger leagues than the swiss one: Turkish, Italian, Russian, Polish, French, Romanian, and German "Fun" fact I just heared from a swiss friend: After Sm'Aesch-Pfeffingen won the first game in the Finals (3:1) and was about to maybe get the 4th set in Zurich what would have meant a Tie-Break, Jacobi ordered the Coa...
VakifBank in beast mode again, it seems...
WorldOfVolley reports, that Tandara Caixeta is leaving Brazilian league and goes to China to team Guangdong Evergrande.
Interview with Stuttgarter newspaper of Dutch captain Deborah van Daelen: she estimates chances of Stuttgart winning the championship for the first time (kind of successor of the legendary, but vanished CJD Feuerbach) at 50 to 50, and the first (home) match will be of special meaning, i.e. psychologically, to get an edge on the series. My hope is, to win all three home matches (at least). https://www.stuttgarts-schoenster-sport.…Z_190418_30.pdf
Yesterday CSM Bukarest secured Romanian championship and qualified this way for pool stage of the next season CL. Final Four hosts Alba Blaj are for sure vice champions, so they are eliglible to take part in qualification rounds. The last two pool stage members missing now for the season coming are Polish and French champions...
Quoted from "Sidney" Is Mammadova injuried? She played only in first set - no idea.
Quoted from "saishuu" Poor Busa. 0/12 spikes today. Chemik's numbers are embarassing. I really hope Kakolewska refuses their offer and moves abroad next season. After this league weakened considerably the last year, I would also recommend Kakolewska to move to Italy.
Ekaterinburg leveled the series with Krasnoyarsk today. So the next match will decide, who gets the important 2:1 lead in the series (also best of five in the little final series, deciding who is eligible to play CL qualification, the loser CEV cup.
Quoted from "Canter" Moscow wins Russian championship ? or it is bets of 3 ? Best of five, but of course Moscow is now rather close to the title with the next match happening in the capital.
I admit, that I'm rooting for Budowlani Lodz with Kaja Grobelna, to end the boredom in this league, where Chemik Police won the title always the last years... a decisive match may be exactly, what the Enea cup winner needs to perform the best...
And Guidettis team shows once more, why they were the most successfull volleyball team of the world in the last 5 to 10 years: they work on top when it counts the most, at least very often, and win so many titles this way - top roster, good teamwork...
VakifBank uses it's own hall and their fans have priority there of course reagarding tickets. Vice versa Eczacibasi is playing in the hall also used by Fenerbahce and Galatasaray, but at their home matches also the teams labeled as such have home advantage. How big this is, is another question: especially in Burhan-Felek Salonu Eczacibasi is unlikely to fill more than the half of the hall, so VakifBank fans may level or even surpass them in numbers...
By the way, Goncharova prolonged her like eternal felt contract with Mocscow for one more year (she is there since 2007 now). So there is no fun for Istanbul top clubs by getting a top opposite now...
