Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

I'm also impressed with Zaytsev. Some of those defense were something you never thought he'll do and the serve and block was critical on shutting down Sokolov even with the average attack scored. He's the MVP of the match and I agree. I'm glad Atanasijevic improved. Still some mistakes on the defensive end but atleast the attack is back. De Cecco would have been my unanimous MVP if not for his scary decisions he made in the fourth set. It almost went to the tiebreak because he forgotten Russell....

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Lol we got away with a win. I think that was lucky. Medei was stupid in set 1 for choosing Sokolov to serve first and putting Sander all alone in the front as the wing spiker. What's worst was Russell got free attacking because Sokolov's in the backline so the block on him was not as good as it was on the latter sets when Medei changed the rotation to one that actually makes the most sense. That helped build Perugia's momentum.

In this match, Perugia has no clear MVP. Everyone is playing great.

Sander is playing terribly but that was a bad substitution by Medei. I think Kovar would have help in the block more than in the backline.

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Strange choice of rotation for Medei. Starting with the most inconsitent server that is Sokolov and basically putting him in backrow, Sander starts in front without the opposite.

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Lube looks stronger and more prepared for this finale. I'm not so sure with Perugia, I hope there's energy left in the tank. It's not going to be easy as before(which frankly was difficult already).

Japanese NT 2018

Knee injuries can be tricky especially for players like Nagaoka. She gets a lot of balls which increases the risk of triggering other injuries or another knee injury whether it is left or right. She's also not that tall and she doesn't receive which can delay her return to the court and her footing as a player. If she's able to play as a receiver, she didn't need to jump a lot so her return to the court would have been easier.

Brazilian Superliga 2017-2018

Uriarte played great. I always read fans telling how bad he is and they are hoping Fernando Kreling should play and become titular but people forget that William is a big loss for Sada. I have doubts Nico and Fernando will completely cover the hole left by William but I disagree that Nico should be benched. It was a great gamble by Mendez considering Kreling have more connection with his teammates at first but Uriarte will sooner or later give a better ball to his teammates, plus having a bigger...

2018 / 2019 Transfer News

Quoted from "akitoakie" Quoted from "Megara" Quoted from "saishuu" Naiane (S/BRA) moving from Hinode/Barueri to SESI/Bauru. So It's confirmed, cause i mentioned this earlier on in the rumors thread. Fabiola(S) is moving to Bauru as well, right? poor Naiane. she used to be the prospect of the next great setter when she was in Minas. she moved to Barueri hoping that Coach Ze will train her more but ended up being back up to Ana and Carli. and now I have a feeling that Dani Lins is for sure coming...

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "Kk15" never heard of Sokolov in Trento, in case I read about Ivan but he is very expensive... Yeah I'm surprised too but on volleyball.it, he's one of the players in the shopping list of Trentino.

Italy – Superlega 2017/2018

Quoted from "Kk15" Quoted from "Rains" I've said it once or twice... when Lanza and Vettori are not playing well. Trento will lose and they did. Well, that's not much of a statement, to be honest : name a team that can win vs Perugia with the opposite and an OH playing badly... Even Perugia couldn't win vs Trento with a bad-performing Atanasjievic! Honestly I didn't understand why Lorenzetti didn't try Teppan during the second set once he had changed Kovacevic for Hoag (so, it wasn't going to b...

Serbian NT 2018

Quoted from "Kaziyski" Quoted from "B. Moreira" No Nemanja Petric. Serbia always bring new players to NT and they can keep their level. Petrić is having problems with both knees so Grbić decieded to rest him in VNL. Big news is that Dragan Stanković retired from NT. @Rains Škundrić is playing as a libero his entire career, absolutely nothing changed about his role. I see. So Skundric was a defensive specialist from last year. Now it makes sense why he doesn't attack in front. I think I got fool...
